Air conditioning? Or jus you will open your windows when need refresh air from your house? Negative ions are electrically charged and will attach themselves to microscopic particles floating in the air, which makes the pollutants too heavy to remain airborne, so they fall to the floor. This removes airborne microbes, spores, pollen, pet dander, dust, chemical fumes, and tobacco smoke particles from the air you breathe, which helps keep you healthy and removes many of the airborne particles which can cause allergies and aggravate asthma. What you use in your home to try to change air from your house?

My way is to open the window and let fresh air in. The negtive ion machine is a good way to keep room air suitable for residents, but it must be properly maintained to attain the purpose. Aerosol spray generate pleasant scent, but actually does not help resolve the problem. I never use such sprays.
