Can christians consume alcohol?

Well we have all read and heard from the bible that the body is the temple of the holy spirit. Therefore anything that defiles the body should be avoided. alcohol harms the body. therefore is alcohol consumptiong wrong or right? If its wrong why do they serve wine during holy communion in most churches which contains alcohol?

yep we can but its the amount in which we do it is the problem...we are supposed to consume so as to contrl wat we do!

How can we actually control when we drink? does that mean christians cant get drunk?

Over induldgence is the sin with that. Over induldgence in anything is the sin. Over eating. Ever heard too much of a good thing isnt good? Vitamin C is good but too much Vc can make you ill.
