What to do with Tracy Mcgrady?

I know this is a strange discussion coming on the eve of the Rockets biggest game of the year. Game 7 of their 2009 Western conference semifinal series vs the LA Lakers. They have performed mightily. Whether they win or lose theyve shown resolve, they will be remembered for a long time. They have shown they do not need McGrady to compete but they want to get better. After this season the first thing to ask McGrady is would he willing to come off the bench. If he says no then your decision is made for you. Coming off the bench he would be a devastating nitro to the offense and Adeleman could mix and match between Tracy, Shane and Artest according to who they are playing and who's hot. If he wont come off the bench then he must be traded. Tracy should be traded for a decent big man. Nester Kristik formerly of New Jersey, and a number 2 pic. Jeff Foster, another player and a 2 pick from Indiana. Back up center Gortac from Orlando. I believe all of these who be good trades to keep the Rockets on the path of winning. They will need two new Big men to back up Yao and always keep around Chuck Hayes. A new swing man to replace Tracy assuming he leaves Maybe James White who already on team) and further develop Von Wafer. The Houston Rockets should be primed to make another run next year.

i think the rockets trading tracy was a very wise move. the aquisition of kevin martin as well as two young big men is sure going to work out in the coming future. tracy clearly wasnt the player he once was and his salary could not be justified by his game. I believe that even with landry leaving for sacremento and ariza getting more playing experience with the rockets, only good will come next year. especially when yao gets back.

The problem with the Rockets they are waiting on Yao. They cant wait on Yao even if he comes back in the best shape possibile. They need to draft and trade for the best players possible or best big men. Basketball is a tall mans game and the Rockets need to get taller.

I think Tracy McGrady's career is almost over. I mean, he has never been healthy and he keeps reinjuring himself. I think one this day, the Houston Rockets will just release or trade him.

Anyway,if he is still in roket,i think, the rocket could never roket.Sometimes,he bring us suprise, however, most of the cases,he let us down.Hope the manager could find a more effetive one and take his place if possible.

I've been telling people for a few years now that the Rockets are cursed! Mcgrady and Yoa haven;t played a full season together since they've been in houston. And everytime they make the playoffs, one of them or both of them get hurt. I was thinking to myself about Mcgrady taking a limited role by comming off the bench after talking about his situation with one of my co-workers. His body may not be able to take on the position of a ful time player any longer. He has been hit with so many injuries over the years, and he's not getting any younger. He's not super old, but it does take alot form you as yuo age with injuries each year. The thing about trading him, is that another team has to think about the amount of money he makes, and all those injuries that come along with that high salary of his.
