It is very difficult to remeber the username of passwords of different web sites. For this I personally keep them in excell work sheet. Recently I have found a software, completly free to remeber my user name and passowrds. If we want it will generate strong password for us and svae it. Those who like to have this just visit. www.keepass.com and try it. I am using it and very attracting. For more you can pm me.

Previously i used Roboform for entering my details but now i'm doing it manualyy because now a days almost all the sites are requesting to enter the captacha along with our account details,so any way we these softwares can't enter these capatcha details. So,i'm entering all these details manually now.I suggest you not to completely depend on these software because if it fails to start due to some bugs or virus then you may loose all the data in it.

Thanks for your good advice. I was also the user of Roboform and quit it. I am keeping all in a excel worksheet and am keeping a copy to my pendrive and other drives. But this software is different from Roboform. The user will be able to manage the folder. The folder will open only through the program and with a master password as I my excel worksheet is password protected.

Worth mentioning, if you have an Apple or Mac, they include a software called "Keychain" that keeps track of passwords for you.

I know it. I am using Opera and firefox. ANd saved my password to the sites. But to me it is better to store password in a seperate programme where I can change it. Moreover some sites require to change the password after a specific period. Then the prg hwlping me lot and which is not possible in fireox or opera.

Hi there! My browser is Firefox and it has the feature to remember passwords. You can choose to have firefox remember usernames and passwords or not. Since I am the only who uses my laptop I opted to let firefox do its thing hehe. My earning sites are bookmarked so whenever I have to log in I don't have to key in my details on each site. It saves time too. Ciao!

Even our browsers are capable do remembering our passwords and by default this feature will be kept as " NO" to avoid unnecessary problems. Once I used norton 360 , anti virus software which is having the feature of doing the above. But we can not trust the programs in anyway as our passwords may be hacked by them. Better is having less number of passwords so that we can easily remember them when need.
