Have you ever been in a life threatening situation? If so, how did you react? Did you think you would react like this before it happened? Or did you think you would have reacted different? Take care.

Normally when something happens, you act automatically. Like a self protection energy. We seem to have this as humans. I think animals have this too. But, hopefully you won't need it. Have a great day.

I think the biggest life threatening situation that I have been in was when I was eleven years old. This happened back in 1997. I was with my mother and a relative and we had gone to visit someone my relative was pretty good friends with at the time. She lived out in the country and she owned a Rottweiler. My mother and relative were afraid to get out to go knock on the door. So naturally I had to go knock on the door. I walked past the Rottweiler and it just sat there. I walked up to the front porch and the dog just sat there. I knocked on the door and the dog charged. The next thing I knew the dog was on me literally. It's front paws were on my shoulders and it was just about to sink its teeth into my neck when the owner came out and stopped it. If the owner had been a second later, the dog would have killed me. It shook me up pretty bad, I won't deny.

Oh my, I beleive it shook you up! I am afraid of Rottweilers myself. One charged after me when I was delivering newspapers. The owner said I should not have run. I have news papers in my hand, I don't think that would have been wise to stay there. I was only 17 at the time. I could run real fast, so I was all right. The dog chased me up to the next road. hahaha! These dogs are strong, I won't take chances with them. So, yes I can imagine how you felt. Thanks for commenting, take care.
