I drive my eldest to school everyday as she goes to school in the next town to us and have been doing it slightly earlier than normal as they have been doing exam revision with breakfast. So, I'm pooterling along in my PT cruiser and this idiot just pulls out of a juction without looking causing me to break hard. So I'm not very happy about this but carry on pooterling. I drawn around the next corner and have to slow due to a stationary bus & oncoming traffic, several cars also slow in front & behind me, then this boy racer (Beep Beep) comes along in his pimped up saxo (1.1 i might add) and over takes everyone, almost hits oncoming traffic as he forces them to move for him. Again I move on and see a multitude of cars pulling out when really they should of waited!! It was a little frustrating!! My question is Is it worth almost killing ourselves just to get to the office on time?? People are just plain stupid sometimes!! I don't think so!!! Thanks for reading Mrsl x x

the thing about morning drivers are (i am not a morning driver cause i left my car in the garage and use public transport), we want to avoid the early morning rush, where the volume of cars and other vehicles on the road makes us mad and frustrated. we don't want to get to offices and school late right? nevertheless, drivers whether it is in the morning or evening, drivers should practice proper driving conduct to avoid accident.

Keep in mind drivers like this aren't just out during the morning hours, they're out all the time. I run into people that drive like that all the time. It really drives me crazy because they pass and force people off the road and they end up turning off about 5 seconds later. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me at all. I hate it really. I hate how people act that way and then turn off right in front of you or something. I don't understand how doing that really gets them to their location any faster.

I take my kids to school each morning. Dropping off the younger two first, isn't bad. The traffic there is minimal and thankfully, the drivers are pretty curtious. Now, after dropping them off, I have to drive across town to drop off my oldest. Traffic there is downright crazy! There are people who speed through the school zone, those who pull out in front of traffic, those who cut people off, just total morons! There have been a few mornings that my oldest was a minute or two late for breakfast because of the traffic. I refuse to be careless just to get him there earlier. I would rather him make it in one piece. No, it is not worth getting into an accident just to get somewhere on time. Life is too precious.

I really enjoyed reading your discussion and I have to say that I'm sorry that you had to go through that and were frustrated because of it. To answer your question fully, in certain situations of traffic we have no control over that but one would try their best to get to work on time but of course traffic jams do happen as everyone that is trying to "beat the morning rush" which consists of parents dropping off their kids to school and rushing to the office to make it to work on time or even in cases with adults that don't have any kids rushing to get to work. Making it safely to work I believe is much more important than rushing and endangering not only the lives of others but also your very own. How does everyone else feel about this? Do you guys agree with me?
