Racism....is it gettin bettr or worse?

I think it is getting worse... The only difference is that now we are actually tolerating racism. For example.. "White kids Parents" will feel unconfortable if their kids are dating a black kid... they wont say anything.. but they will feel awkward... same thing the other way around.... Before.. it was just white vs. black.. but now is also black vs. white vs. asian vs. middle eastearn. You see.. if your daughter brings home someone from a different culture.. chances are that you are not really going to know how to act or how to make that person welcome.

tru...one must keep an open mind though(my kidz r white/black an beautiful)....who knows, maybe one day we'll all be mixd together an there will be no "pure" race...just one(human)

Yeah I know what you mean... As You can see.. I can pretty much write english well... and I am Latin.. I come from the Dominican Republic. Our culture, our race used to be Tainos until America was discovered. the first Island Colombus saw was ours. His rests are still in the Dominican Republic. Those Spanish brought slaves... So we are all a mix of Tainos (Natives), Spanish (White), and African Slaves (Black). So if someone asks me if I am white or black.. I really have no anwer

I think it's getting worse.I have even seen a racist topic on mylot.I was not impressed I can tell you and let them know in no uncertain terms that it is not acceptable

I think it is getting worse...and you have all the races in the United States doing it, not just the caucasians like in the decades past

in my own opinion i think that racism is both....depending on where you live.....we as a community tries our best to get rid of racism but as a group we havent strive to do so....it still occur here and there which is likely common...maybe its meant to be here...it was there from the start....there is never a solution to it unless we all change somehow....

I honestly think its getting worse. The more desegregation you have the more clashing of races and cultures you will have. I know in the south we have a lot higher minority population compared to the north which is why we often are considered more racist.
