I saw Angels and Demons this Saturday. It was definitely not as controversial as The Da Vinci Code was, and probably still is. Tom Hanks still plays his character of Robert Langdon(sp?) very well. My husband tells me, and I believe this too, that Angels and Demons is something of a prequel to The De Vinci Code. I'm listing to the audiobook for The Da Vinci Code right now, and there are several mentions of a previous incident that Robert was involved in a year or two prior. Very interesting. I feel this movie would be an interesting movie to go watch, just as long as the subject matter doesn't put you off before you even step into the theater.

I was trying to decide what movie to go see this weekend and I think this is the one. I haven't heard any reviews from anyone on the movie but yours so I'll go with that. Tom Hanks doesn't make bad movies does he? I thought the Davinci code was very interesting so I am hoping this one is too. Thanks

I suppose you could always download it sometime. It's so hard to tell nowadays what they're going to do where.

Tom Hanks is always one of those that are must see in theaters. Although, you can watch him just about anywhere.

i've seen the movie and all i can say is that it's far far less than the book (as expected). better watch it first before reading the book if you haven't. as for the movie alone, it wasn't as good as i expected. the plot revolves on looking for a particular place with clues in it (i won't spoil much for those who haven't seen it), much like "National Treasure" except that the latter is treasure hunting. But i can say, that i enjoyed more of national treasure. The ending was not good as well because the revelation was very disappointing as compared to the book. The only hightlight i think, was the explosion. ;)

You made it through Angels and Demons ok; I'm sure you could make it through the other movie though now you will have to catch it on DVD.

I have seen The Da Vinci Code before. It's definitely an interesting movie in it's own right.

I already watch the movie. It may not be controversial like the De Vinci Code (the movie) maybe because the Catholic Church already realize that moviegoers especially the Catholics are rational and responsible viewers. That these people watch movie for entertainment purposes only. Angels and Demons (movie) is very interesting to watch. I haven't read the book yet.

I haven't seen The Da Vinci Code yet but I have it recorded so I can see it before I see Angels and Demons. I like Tom Hanks a lot so I figure it must be fairly good. I don't worry about the religious controversy surrounding them, they're only movies after all! Annie
