My grandchildren called me and asked me for a relative's phone number yesterday. They said that this relative had promised them that they could come and spend a week with his family when school is out. Well today is the last day of school for them.(Today is May 19, 2008). They are twin boys age 13. Both of them got promoted. Is school out where you are? If not when is the last day of school.

School is out for my son on the 26th of May, so he doesn't have long. I can't believe next year he will be a senior! I remember waiting impatiently for school to get out when I knew I was going to spend some time with my granny during the summer. I hope your grandchildren have fun.

School will still be in session for about another week. This year the students will go back for two or three days after Memorial Day.

My grandson is 11 and they will get out of school early on May 29th and will go back to school on August 24th. He is in the 6th grade and will be promoted for sure, he is on the A/B honor roll. He will be spending a lot of the summer here with us, he lives 300 miles away. As for the schools here where I live, I have no idea when they are let out for the summer.

Chevee- My older children who live down south got out last week. The children who live here in MN get out, I believe the second week of June. My two little ones are far from school age so for me, it's almost always like summer break lol. Though, now that the warm weather is here we get to go outside much more often and enjoy the nature. We've a lovely park near us with a gazebo for watching the ducks, geese, and cranes. It's really a nice place to have a picnic lunch at. We went last week and saw the new ducklings marching all in a row. Namaste-Anora
