I myself have just left the active duty army. As a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, I love this country. I would not have it any other way. My journey is far from over. I look to venture next with the National Guard to complete my career and school goals. I have a simple question. How much do you love your country?

I love my country, and I am very grateful to those who have sacrificed over the years to make America the free nation she is. Both of my grandfathers--paternal and maternal--served in World War I and World War II, respectively. My uncle was in the Navy, and I'm sure I have other relatives who served in earlier wars and conflicts. I just pray that America will remain a free country.

I love my country as much as you seem to. I am much older than you and when I was younger I started to join the army, but love got in the way, then raising a family. I worked some at VA hospitals when I was able to work and I will be one of the southerners that take up arms if my country is invaded. I will not allow my children and grandchildren to go unprotected. I am to old to join the military now but if war was to break out in the USA, every hunter and true American would find a way to protect what is ours in anyway we can. (like the militia in our wars of the past) Thank you for your service, it means more to me than you can know. Good luck in school and God Bless all of our servicemen and women.
