nowadays, more and more people do work which aren't related to what they learnt in university.as for me, i got a bachelor's degree in management and then studied law as my master's major.at last,i entered a bank working on foreign exchange transactions.things i learnt from university are totally useless for my job.what do you think of this? do you think it's good or bad for one's career development?

It's hard to find what suiting best to our needs and pleasure. Studying age is whole different world when we're at working age. For me, it just alright when you job scope is not even a tiny related with your major study, because the most important is our interest in doing a thing.

It is quite hard getting a job in this recession, but what i try to do nowadays is do some freelance work and if i can get some savings through that, then i can open a small It company which is then related to what i read in college

My current job is what I want and it is what I studied in. I am very fortunate to work in the field that I studied in. I really enjoy my job and I know that I am making a difference. However, many things that I have learned in class are really not useful when one would be working. If what you studied in is not what you are doing now do not despair you never know what you will be doing later on and how that course will help you later on life.
