I am currently reading several books. I am reading a book on the civil war that is a narrative told from the perspective of 11 major players of the war. I am reading Wicked, which i am hoping is good. I just saw the Broadway Production and am hoping to compare the two, to see how they did. I am also reading a book with my husband called "the seven principles of making marriage work". It is a very interesting book about creating positive relationships while maintaining healthy life styles. All very interesting.

I've never seen the musical "Wicked," but I have read the book and from what I understand they are very different. The book Wicked has some pretty heavy social/political themes. I thought it was very good, but it took me a couple of weeks to get through it (I usually finish a fiction book in 2-3 days). It's a little heavy, but worth the read.

I just finished reading "Confessions of a Shopaholic" --- yes, I know, it's been out for YEARS.. I just didn't find it worth reading until a friend lent it to me. I found it funny and irritating at the same time. Now I'm waiting for the rest of her collection.

I just finished The Twisted Tower by Sara Douglass. It's book 2 of the "Darkglass Mountain" Trilogy, which is a continuation of "The Wayfarer Redemption" series. "The Wayfarer Redemption" ties for the best fantasy series ever, in my opinion (the other is "The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind). The Twisted Tower was really good, and I can't wait for book 3 to come out. In the meantime, I'll have to find something else to read. Maybe I'll check out The Secret Supper. It sounds interesting.

I'm reading 'In Search of the Proper Sinner' by Elizabeth George. It sounds as if it should be a religious book, but it's actually one of the 'Inspector Lynley' series of crime novels. Elizabeth George can weave a complex tale without confusing the reader, and her books are usually 600 or 700 pages, so it's a real reading treat for me. I've been reading it for 2 days now, and I hope to finish it today or tomorrow. In Spain at the moment, it's too hot to do much except read. That's my excuse, anyway!

I am currently reading on of my favorite writers Isac Asimov the title Nemesis. I Love scifi, up to now I find the book very good and hard to put down. but since I can only read when I got some free time, It seems ages just to get to know the ending of the story.
