Idol Finals

We had the most fun tonight having an Idol Watch Party. We got the party room at the country club where the girls would have the big screen television, bought some simple snacks and sodas and just hung out and watched Kris and Adam sing their hearts out.
My daughter invited several friends, and their moms ended up staying as well, and we had about 15 sitting around eating and watching and of course...rooting for Kris Allen. Then when he finished singing, it was all about the voting! Lauren and her friend Christian are still in her bedroom texting away!

I had a little fun arranging my room,,, and some friend came up to cook etc,it was coool

Sounds like you had a great time. I have had so much fun cooking with my daughter since she came home from college. Tonight, she made spaghetti all by herself, including my recipe for homemade sauce. She's been taking out specific things from the freezer and saying "teach me how to make this please."

I tell my kids friends that all the time, at least the ones that come over here all the time. Stop knocking on my door because all it does is make the dogs bark!
There are a couple of them that will walk on in, but most of them knock and make one of us get up and come to the door!

I believe after an honest days hard work its time to have a lil fun,,in my own way,only a good friend will just drop in without a plan,,good friends do not need to knock on my door,, and then God never stops u from having a lil clean fun ,, enjoy ur life dear

I almost wish I had saved the watch party for tonight since Kris was named the 2009 American Idol! Our state is so excited. My daughters have both called me and they were screaming in excitement. All the local news stations are doing live coverage from his home town, and it's just been a great time for our state.
