Do you? Well, I am really fond of watching Asian Dramas. I even bought DVD copies of some of the series that I fancy. I am totally digging into Japanese Dramas and Koreanovelas. Although I cannot understand completely the dialogue and have to read the subtitles to relate throughout the whole series, I still find it interesting. I am captivated with both the storyline and the character's antics. It's like immersing yourself into other countries' culture without leaving home. What do you think?

i actually prefer subtitles better.. i dont like it when they dub anime and dramas in tagalog cuz sometimes they mess it up.. i trust the subbers better than what the filipino network stations do (especially ABS CBN!!!! omg) but dont get me wrong, when i lived in the philippines i still got addicted to the kroeanovelas they showed in their station, it's jjust that i think the subtitles do the drama more justice than the tagalog dubbings.

I agree! I like the subtitles better than the dubbed version.

I would like to watch the tagalog-dubbed version if the series will be shown without all the commercials! :)

i am fond of watching korean, japanese, or any asian novelas. I would prefer to watch with the subtitles though because I feel like I can relate more into it and also I can learn their language that way. buying cds here are tricky because some do not have good english subs.

i also enjoy watching asian dramas esp. the koreanovelas but as much as possible i watch the dubbed version being shown on national television here in the philippines. it's much easier for me to watch the dubbed version, that way i dont have to guess the story using subtitles that have faulty english. i have to wait night after night, though. happy watching! http://kcatwoman.blogspot.com

i like watching them too even if i have to read the subtitles the whole time. i find watching the original version of these shows much better than the ones dubbed in my native language.

Since I'm limited to my drama sources, I can't really watch them online besides a few sites that I found and they are all subbed in English so I don't really have a choice, but I like to watched it subbed in English because it helps me understand what's going on; however, I really like to listen to the characters talk in their own language while I'm reading the subtitles. It helps me learn their language!
