How do you work for google online?

Hello guys! I keep saying ads to work for google and I don't know if they're really scams lol. I am kind of curious because I see people holding up a check from google. So how do people make money from google aside from adsense and adwords? If there is an easier and better way, I'd be happy to listen and maybe try it out myself If I like what I hear = ). Hopefully someone can answer this.
