BEing a mother.....I would do anything to make sure my child survived....I have no concept of what she is doing.....and I don't know how I would live after losing one of my children..and if one of my kids needed a kidney or something...I would give it to them so they had the chance to grow old....I can't believe she would let her son die!

There are some women who should never be mothers but she isn't in that catagory. As far as I know she loves her son , she just needs to really understand about chemo. I wish that the judge would have been to educate the parents and have them educate the son too, then do the chemo.

Good question. I guess people who are of her religion won't take their childen to the doctor now. I didn't think of that side of the story.

I wish she hadn't done it either. I know how hard it is to watch someone go through chemo...I've been there with my husband's brother...but he's alive today because he had good doctors and kept fighting his cancer. I know this mom loves er son but she is in denial and is using very poor judgement by risking his life like this. Now, on top of everything else the family is going through, she has taken the boy away from his family and his family away from him...and she is a criminal.

she may be in denial and then again maybe she doesn't trust the doctors.that;s the key, the fight. If and when they take the teen away from his mom and give him chemo, how much fight will he have? Mom in jail, dad probably barred from seeing him.
