What Did You Buy WIth Your First Salary???

I remember when I got my first job that was a part-time that I used to do a few hours after school. The only thing that I remember buying with my salary was a cake from a bakery to cut with family and my grandparents and some pastry to take to work to thank them for the job that they have given me. I believe I saved the rest of the money that I had and didn't want to spend all of my salary away. This is an interesting question and looking forward to reading some of the other replies.

Hi, friend. If I got my first salary, I want to have a dinner in a large restaurant with my parents. Or I buy some other things for them. I love my family and want to do somethings for them. ^-^

My first salary was not much and with that I bought a really expensive branded shirt for my Dad...I know he was wanting it and he couldnt afford it either, so I bought it for him.

This is an interesting question. I gave some of the salary to my grandparents, some to my parents, some at chrch and spend the rest for my expenses. I spend it lavishly. I was so excited to recieve my first salary. I think I bought a churidar (dress) with the first salary.

I remember I bought my first ever Cell phone, it was nokia, I lost it this January and I am still thinking about it, I also bought some good stuffs to wear for my parents and my elder siter.

I remember way back in 1998 when i get my first salary i bought a cellphone nokia 5110 all my money go to that cellphone lol! that i end up borrowing money from my mother for allowance so that i can go to work the next day, i was very happy that time becuase it was also my very first cellphone.

I bought a new clothes with my first salary. It's been along time ago. But it's just like happened yesterday. I can't describing how happy am i at that moment. Although my financial condition is much better than before, but it doesn't mean i can spend my salary unwisely. I must save as much as money for my future plans. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Wow, I can't think back that long ago (which makes me sound old and that's not at all the case, I just have a bad memory). I'm not sure what the exact first thing was (probably something small that I needed at the time), but the first real significant thing I bought was a treadmill. Saved up for quite a while for that and splurged on a $300 treadmill that got lots of use. I loved that thing and go in great shape with it, but had to leave it behind with my mother when we moved. :( And now it never gets used, which is really quite a shame thinking of all the money I spent just to buy it.
