i took my daughter to her 1 year well child check up it went well but they did not give her the shots she needed because she had a temp of 100.3 so they want me to bring her back , when it was time for me to check out they gave me a paper with everything on it, her hight, weight her head size, temp and all that stuff. i was shocked because they never did that before i use to have to write every thing down . i guess they started doing that to make it easier on the people so they would not have to either write it down or ask for a copy, i am so glad it makes things easier for me.does anyone elses dr do that.

Ya both of my kids had that. I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old. They also would give me a percentage table showing my childs growth. My children were always in the 75% to 90%. All of my doctors do that for me. They even keep it in the computer so your next visit they print a new one that has all the old info on it too. Its awesome. Great keepsakes...

The pediatrician my daughters take my grandchildren to gave them a little book that they take with them when they go for a visit and then everything can be noted in it. This is just a little record book that they will be able to keep and know what vacines they have had and when they had them. There is also a place for childhood diseases like chicken pox and measles if they would happen to get them. It also has a place for when they get older to record surgeries or broken bones or anything at all they may need treatment for. I thought it was a very nice thing to have so you don't have to remember where all the information is. flutterby

yeah my dr does this for my son as well. It is very nice and great keep sakes for his baby book. I love going back to when he was younger and seeing just how much he really has grown over the past year and a half. My drs office puts his information on this little blue piece of paper with little boy designs on them. Ive seen pink papers for the girls. Very cute.
