Moron and Binagol - the pride of Leyte and Samar is my one and only favorite native delicacy. It shows how we, the people of Eastern Visayas are supported to the Department of Trade and Industrys' program dubbed as One Town, One Product (OTOP). It is the pride of the Region considering that every balikbayan, tried to buy and bring the products whenever they visit the Region.

I love native delicacies! My favorites are ube halaya, leche flan, maha blanca, and minatamis na saging (bananas in syrup).if given the choice I will have them everyday.in every fiesta I attend to,I rarely eat the foods served during the main course.I go straight to dessert.

I agree!! When I was in the middle east, one of the things I miss so much is our very own, LECHON!!! The crispy skin, and the ribs!! LOL! Yeah, it is definitely one of my favorite foods.

I love banana. Therefore I love our very own banana-que (banana cook in brown sugar), turon (banana inside a wrapper) and maruya (banana cook in flour). I just like the way we cook it and the different ways we can present it. Like we can eat turon with ice cream. yummy!

I like stroopwafels ( wafers with some kind of hard syrup), I also like frikandellen and kroketten as a snack and of course rookworst( smoked sausage) which is always nice to serve with zuurkool ( very sour cabbage, I bet you guys don't want to eat it if you'd knew how they make this... :P) That's about it for me I think. What's piyaya btw?
