I was reading today that Heath Ledger's final performance was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is titled "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus". Ledger was filming the role when he died last year. The film is a story about a man visits fantasy worlds. They used the footage of Heath Ledger for the real world portions of the movie and finished it off with actors Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell as his character's role when he visits his three trips to fantasy realities. This sounds like it could be a Summer Blockbuster movie. I can't wait for it to come out in theaters! I did not realize he had another movie that he had filmed prior to his death. I am sure he did an excellent job in this movie as he always did in all of his other movie roles. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Hey schulzie! I am also looking forward to seeing this movie too! I had read about it and how they were able to finish it by using the other actors and what a cast they picked! It should be an incredible movie! I love Heath Ledger and will be looking forward to seeing his final performancen. I don't see how he can top his performance in "Dark Knight", but I am certain that it will be amazing too!

I can't wait for it to come out. He really was a very talented actor. I hate to admit this but I have never seen "The Dark Knight" yet. I will have to rent it and see it soon. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!!!

Ah so its out now.. I thought that maybe they wouldnt be able to finish the film with Heath Ledger being gone and all. I knew about this but I guess as most artists, they just have that one or two unfinished work before they passed. Still, with the description that you told, I think they pulled it off quite nicely. Incorporating huge excellent actors to fill in the role. I havent seen it yet but I think it will work and the final outcome of it all would be a nice touch. Im guessing they made the movie a tribute to Heath's last performance. Well, Im sure to lookout for it. Thanks for the post^_^

It's amazing how creative that they got to finish this movie. But it defintely sounds like they figured out a way in order to do it. Also, it should be great with all of those big name talented actors in it! Thanks for your comment and have a great day!!!

Yes, I really hope a US distributor picks up this movie soon! A release date has already been set for other countries, which are mostly during fall. I don't know why it's taking so long for America! When I heard Johnny was taking over Heath's role, I couldn't have been happier. I'm sure Law and Ferrell will do awesome as well! The 3 actors also donated all of their income from "Dr. Parnassus" to Heath's daughter, Matilda :)

I heard a lot of talk about the movie around the time Heath passed. I don't know much about what it's about, but I think it looks interesting. I'll probably go see it.
