I fell off the wagon this week....

Ok, about a week ago, I had promised myself that I would be more committed to myLot and earning money. Last year at this time, I was making payout of $10 every MONTH; I've not gotten a payout since last fall. This is the first day I've been online for any length of time that was NOT dedicated to school. (and yes, I should be at school now, but I'm such a procrastinator! Actually, I haven't made any money on the site since the 16th or 18th because I haven't been interested in myLot. I've been a member for a number of years, but I haven't really seen any discussions that really catch my eye. And I'm so close to payout (just over one dollar to go), but I can't motivate myself! I'm just not feeling myLot--do you think the warmer weather might have something to do with it?

I joined mylot just a month ago,and i have been feel good.i think mylot is great platform for us to communicate with the people from all over the world ,it could be exciting.Of course ,we also can make some extra money from here. If you don't want to response to those discussions which you think are boring, why not started a new one by yourself just like this ,i would be very glad to join in. :)

Its hard to start topics when you're less likely to get intelligent responses like yours. I also think another problem of mine is lack of time--I attend school, work a job plus have my own business so I'm just too busy some days to think of anything new to discuss! But thanks for an intelligent response--you just set the bar for me! Thanks, I think?

Thanks for saying so. :) I agree with you.Starting a topic isn't an easy thing, beacause most of us have to work and have many things to deal with in our lives,we can't put all these things in our mind, that would be exhausting. But sometimes, communicating with our friends is really relaxing,do you think so?Have a nice day.

I go through periods like that where I just can't get into MyLot...I take a little break and then come back. I've also been slacking in the payout area...a little time off here, a little time off there and before you know it it's the end of the month and you haven't reached your goal. I've been working harder at doing it though b/c I really feel good when I reach my goal. I've also been wanting to start more discussions but I feel like I need to clean some out of my inbox first but maybe I'll do a couple today :) ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

This may be my only comment today (don't you feel special?) but I work today plus there's school. Yeesh, I'm busy today, and it's not even ten AM! Have a good day and remember the fallen.

Pretty much not into it myself lately... I used to manage payout every couple months but it is so unlikely this year as I am barely starting or keeping up with my discussions each month

I haven't been either, but then a lot of my cyber friends I had then have either been posting less or not at all, or have left altogether. It's not the same place it was a year ago, and I miss all the great topics that were posted! Hmmmm. maybe that did have a lot to do with it.....

Wow you are a newbie! I'm flattered that I am one of your first responses! How did you find out about the site? Welcome to myLot and have a nice day!

If you only want to earn money by post something, it would be hard work for you and you would be difficult to keep interesting to do such post issue. For me, just exercise my English, earn money is another issue that is not important to me. Actually I have a really job.

no, my post is not a mature nature, maybe from the content you would see it looks like content the mature content, why my respond could be the similar as the mature content? Please be patient to judge my post, I just say what I think and what i do.

I was a member last year and lost my account info. I was close to payout when I lost my internet and account info. I just remembered this site. I signed back up last night. I remember last year there was all kinds of discussions going on. Since last night I have not seen to many i want to get involved with. Hope you get to your payout soon. Good Luck also with your schooling. Happy MyLotting!!

Well it IS a holiday weekend here in the United States so there might not be as much activity. I think that there have have been tr0lls on the site in the past--some folks with nothing better to do than pester people until the leave.

Hey friend.. Even I often get demotivated like this. Infact I have not been visiting mylot since last 3 months or even more. This is because, I was busy working in few other sites. However, mylot is one of the most stable and legitimate sites I have ever seen. Weather has nothing to do with mylotting. I feel it is because people keep posting boring questions and discussions. Anyway, happy mylotting..

I think my use of the term 'boring' might have been a bit harsh--i've got to remember that English is not every myLotter's first language. I also forget sometimes that there actually are people who are not yet familiar with myLot and how it works. Thanks for reminding me. As it stands, I'm still here at my friend's home after a BBQ twelve hours later so I still think the warm weather might have a part.

I have only been a member of this site for a few days but I can see at the end of the tunnel and the goal that I have set for myself which is to be able to reach the payout hopefully by next pay period. I am going to see if I can achieve this. I know that it does get difficult especially when we lost motivation and site of our goals. But following things through and thinking of what we want will definitely make things a bit easier. I have enjoyed this site so far so that really helps as well.

There's one small hole in your theory when you apply it to me--I DO have a goal! I just can't bring myself to sit still and post to fifty discussion responses a day, especially when I find topics sorely lacking.
