Why doesn't the Sci Fi channel just give up?

What is with the original movies from the Sci Fi channel. Each one is worse than the one before it. And then if they're not playing their own badly written, badly acted, complete with the worse CGI available movies, they're playing bottom of the barrel "Hollywood" movies. Seriously, Bloodrayne 1 and 2?! The first one wasn't awful enough, they had to make a second? And the knockoff movies, Alien vs. Hunter, I am omega, next they'll have Transmophers. Sci Fi needs new program managers, desperately.

LOL, They do play some really silly movies on there sometimes. They have had a couple of mini series on there in the past that were not too bad. There was one we got in to a couple of years ago, but I don't remember the name of it. But this guy could use any door as a portal to somewhere else, it was kind of cool. But must not have been phenominal since I can't remember the name of it.

I remember that one, it was something like The Secret Room, or The Vanishing Room. I like Tinman. They should stick to mini series and regular series, like Eureka and Warehouse 13.

I watched one this weekend called the Book of Beasts. I'm a King Arthur freak, have been since I was a little kid so I had no choice but to watch. The acting wasn't bad (except that Merlin was apparently Caribbean.... ) and there really wasn't much for animation but the literary inaccuracies were astounding. Although, possibly because I have read so much of the Arthurian legends over the years. Someone with only a casual interest might not have noticed that the one and only time Guinevere was ever pregnant it was Lancelot's baby and Morgan helped/convinced her to abort it so there couldn't have been a Princess Amylin Pendragon. I am really not a good authority...I think science fiction movies are absurd for the most part anyway. I do watch, and usually enjoy, most of the horror films and a lot of the fantasies.

omg I know. They showed a clip of one of those movies on The Soup once, and it was just so bad that it was laugh out loud funny.

I don't know, I think they just need a new movie program manager. I've liked a lot of the SERIES that are playing on sci-fi. That used to be the primary channel that I watched and our tv was usually set to either that or the discovery channel. But we refuse to watch movies from the Sci Fi channel. They are all just really bad. I think in my entire life I've only watched maybe one or two good movies from that channel, and that was a long time ago.
