I started exercising to be ready for our retreat on Boracay this coming September. In losing weight it's advised to have a regular cardio-vascular exercise, so i've doing some jogging lately. But after every jogging i get tremendously hungry and i rememberd that in order to lose weight you might as well consider a Low Calorie diet.. So know i seek an advice for a Low Calorie diet not just after jogging but from breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would prefer if you can advise common foods that's affordable for Filipino families.

i lost 83 pounds by portion size and walking. i tried every diet on the market and portion size is the only thing that worked. stay away from rice which i know is a staple diet where you live, slice some chicken on some mixed lettuce or sliced pork will be good. the pork will take longet to digest, once your stomach gets used to the portion size( about 2 weeks) you'll be set. if you have a high metabolism any kind of beans are good. you can burn just as many calories fast walking as jogging without tearing up you knees, it will catch up to you after awhile. be sure to mix up your workouts, dont get into a rythem let you muscles have a day or 2 between sets.exercise different body parts on different days.dont do the same exact thing daily. your young the cardio will get your heart raceing.

Max is right, you gotta stay away from rice The biggest challenge I had when I was starting to lose weight was eating Sinigang without rice, but after I surpassed that, everything else was easier. I also agree with Max about portion-size eating. It's really about control. Try including more exercise. It would also be good to enroll at a gym in that way, even if you're losing weight, your body will still be toned.

sinigang im gonna have to look that one up, never had it, something new i can try. also remember carbs turn to sugar, sugar turns to fat. if ya want carbs do the fruit and veggie thing. melon is low sugar, green beans and leafy veggies will keep ya in great shape.

i lost almost 13 lbs. my post pregnancy weight to which i'm proud of considering the fact that i lost them at an age when metabolism is already slow, at 34. that's without exercise, mind you . i just used plain common sense: i like coffee but i only like its taste. that means my coffee 3x a day is only coffee and water, no sugar or cream. go for the basics but eat anything you like. not eating what you like makes your body crave which make you load up on foods, that though low in calories, if you would total what you consumed would still total to a lot since your body was craving for something you like and didn't give it. follow the recommended servings. inability to do so would mean a trip to the toilet when you unexpectedly consumed a lot since the stomach would be shocked. here's my diet which i enjoy: breakfast: one serving of goldilock's caramel popcorn. i like sweets and this is a good source of fiber which would ensure regular bowel movement. a cup of plain coffee follows. i finish everything with water. mid-morning snack: one serving of tang orange juice. don't take for granted vitamin c and the other vitamins loaded up in tang. take a glass of water again. lunch: half cup of rice and one serving of any meat or fish or whatever. and my plain coffee. water again. two hours later: any fruit. don't forget the water. 4:00 pm: plain coffee and any source of calcium. this may mean adding only milk to your coffee. water follows. 6:00 dinner: half cup serving of rice and any meat or fish. my caffeine now would be coke zero. finish the meal with water. 8:00 pm: snack on any vegetable. take water. 10:00 pm: coke zero again. then water that's the secret to my 102 lbs. 5' frame at 34. good luck!

To burn calories and KEEP from being hungry you must EAT..lol.. sounds crazy right but its true. Focus on eating 4 to 6 SMALL meals a day (around 200 calories each). Foods high in protien will give you the energy to exercise without weighing you down. High protien and GOOD carbs (not in excess) will keep you from getting hungry through out the day. Portion control is key, the reality is that you can eat just about whatever you want, IN THE RIGHT AMOUNT. Try not to eat more than 4 to 5 ounces of any one thing. This will allow you to have more variety to your meals and diet. Eggs (if more than one remove the yolks from all adittional egg, LEAN cut bacon, mushrooms, lowcarb bread (not sure if you can find this in the philipenes). Be weary of fruits, they contain sugar. even tough it is natural sugar it is still sugar and eaten in excess will put weight on you or keep you from losing. www.calorieking.com (site is free to search) is a great website! you can put in any food that you like and it will give you the nutrional value of that item. You can also select to see the nutritional value of 1 ounce of that food so you know how much of it you can eat to fit into your diet. Eating 2 to 3 large meals a day actually slows down your metablosim and keeps you from burning as many calories as you are capable of. BERAKFAST is key, it jumpstarts your metabolism for the day.
