I´m a sweet pepper fan!!!

I like sweet peppers raw. I eat them like apples! I like them cooked, too, and always add them to meatloaf or soup, but my favorite way is to stuff them with cooked ground beef, onions, garlic, tomatoes and a little cooked rice. I can't tell you how much of what, though, because I never measure.

My favourite pepper recipe is to simply grill the peppers until charred, peel the blackened skin off and slice the peppers. Add to it one part vinegar to three parts olive oil and then they can be served either hot or cold. Even better with basil leaves sprinkled over the top. Maybe that's a similar recipe to Marguicha's one.

Hi marguicha...My husband and I love anything with green peppers..From philly steak sandwiches to stuffed pepper soup. I always have alot of pepper plants in my garden for the summer growing and I preserve them if they are not cannable. I sometimes stuff the big banana peppers with sausage or sauerkraut and can them and boy do they taset good in the wintertime when you are looking for that something to eat that you just can't quite put your finger on...LOL flutterby
