Commission on Remembrance asks Americans to pause, reflect at 3 p.m. Monday. Group hopes act will reclaim Memorial Day as "sacred and noble holiday".Observances include interruption of Major League Baseball games.Shoppers in grocery stores asked to take a minute to remember our fallen. Have you done this? will you? I think it is a wonderful idea.

Didn't hear about this until now. But it's a fantastic idea. Memorial Day is about remembering the ones who have sacrificed their own lives for our freedom and liberty. As Warren Buffet once said, 'Today someone is sitting in the shade of a tree, because long ago, someone was smart enough to plant a seed.'

I hadn't but since you mentioned it I think I will, I know it is past 3 and all but better late then never. I also think it is a wonderful idea and think that we should all try to take a few minutes to remember.

I am surprised that this was not publicized more. I listen to the world news and read the paper daily and never heard anything about it. I really wish I had known about it , I would have observed the moment.
