Hello friends, I am back to myLot after a gap of 2-3 months. Recently i have got a referral link of my friend who is in UK. He challenges saying this site is 100% genuine and pays off for completing surveys. The amount earned in an hour by completing 6 surveys is about $25. I just want to ask you, that as members in mylot are very much experienced and know more about all this, can any one let me know, are such sites really worth to sign up and fill in details are such survey sites are fake. For your info, my friend did said that he redemed $25 immediately after 1 hour.

It is ture that you can make $25 from 6 surveys, in an hour, perhaps but usually it depends on your demographics. There are sites out there that are 100% genuine and can be extra money in your pocket. Survey sites tend to be more profitable for those that live in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom but that does not mean people from other countries can't join survey sites as well. For you, since you are from India, surveys may not be the best money maker for you but when you qualify for cash surveys its money in your pocket - I guess its realy how you look at it. I have been taking surveys for over three years now and have made over $1000.00 in that time, its not too much but it does help out. If you are still interested in joining survey sites take some time and check out my Survey Directory blog located in my profile. To the right you will see 'Legend', under it will be different countries, your best bet would probably be the 'International' section. There are also tips and payment proof shown on my blog as well, drop a comment if you have time. •§•Good Luck•§•

It could happen, why not? You can usually get anywhere from $1 to $5 per survey depending on what survey it is, how long it is, and what company it's through. It's not necessarily a scam, but you have to remember that your friend might just be trying to get you to become his/her referral - and is saying these things just so you can sign up under them. Also - remember that you don't always qualify for every survey that you start; survey & research companies are looking for a specific, targetting audience when making these surveys - and you might not fit the quota. Either way, you should make sure to RESEARCH the site before joining it and spending (wasting) any of your time there. Simply do a good search for the site's name plus the word "SCAM" and you'll get thousands of hits if it's actually a scam. You could also start another discussion here on myLot asking if anyone has gotten paid from them yet - and if so, to post payment proof. Or, possibly have your friend send you a picture of his transaction or check - just to be on the safe side. Good luck to you!

I wonts say anything definite as opinion. I joined afew. In most cases after I take few questions, they say I do not qualify. whenever I qualify, its long way to reach payout. Even in one site i reached payout and requested it. It never came to me.

that definitely does sound like an unusual amount. an amount that does in-fact strike me as not being legit. i would be willing to try that though. i would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a message with the website adress. i will try it out for myself to see what its all about. i will even let you know my friend. feel free to add me as well, im friendly :)

Some of the survey sites that i had come across and participate in once in a while have been very genuine. I say this because i have recieved payment from a couple of them. The only thing is these sites do not have surveys on a very regular basis.

Hi friend, I feel some are really worth and some are not.It all depends upon our luck friend.I once joined in AW Survey site which is a scam site. They said that they pay 75$.But till now i haven't got the money. In this way we can't say which are really worthy and which are not.You have take risk.If it is succeeded that you will stick to it otherwise feel it is our bad luck.Just have a try and while doing it keep in mind that you may or may not earn money from it.I wish you all the best. Have a nice day

I don't know of any survey site that pays that quickly, however anything is possible. There are many companies that indeed pay for legitimate surveys. The tough part is qualifying and being persistent. I belong to many sites and have been paid by the majority of them. It's not a full time job, nor will you make thousands, but they do pay. If you want a list of sites that pay, send me a pm and I'll send you some links. (Don't worry, I'm not asking for referrals)!

Hey All i gotta say is be careful with this because if if isn't a scam already chances are it will turn into a scam. If your friend isn't lying then congratulations but as again just be careful. Mikey:)
