A segment of people enjoying like anything with all the benefits and others going through hell. A friend of mine was asked to resign today--pathetic. He is married, has a wife, one small kid--and today he became unemployed. God knows how long I can survive. There are so many people facing the same problem--God bless all of you. I dont understand why dont they terminate the top management people--they have enough cash, they can start their own business and survive. Why are we asked to resign--why do we suffer?? How long will this continue?? My daily routine--morning go the office, get screwed up by my boss, my team size is coming down--people are leaving the job, business gone for a toss, again get screwed up by my boss, come out of the office with all the negative energy, no opportunities in the market, impossible to get a new job-- everyday the same thing. Trust me friends-- this was not my life,--I enjoyed my work like anything. I feel I am going through hell--God save me. Take care all of u.

I can understand that when things are getting worse and companies start laying off people, that we, the base level staff cannot help wondering why the higher level staffs remain but we are sacrificed. It is pretty obvious that having one senior staff leave the job can save a few or even 10+ base level staffs. But then, I will think this way: these guys are paid so high for good reasons. They are well paid because they take on critical posts in the company that makes them not easily replaceable. Laying them off is easy but then finding a replacement that is cheaper and as good as them is just not an easy task... and sometimes impossible to achieve. Still, when the company wants to lay off staff, I do hope they can consider more about cutting the extra-benefits provided to the senior staff first as that would be the easy part to conserve resources and yet would not cause too much damage to the morale.

I will tell u something, people top there do nothing. They just check their mails--they do nothing --trust me. their r some good guys on the top but most of them do nothing. I agree that they have a huge experience, they also did the ground level marketing, they also started their career from the scratch--they have the right to stay at the top and get paid heavily. But at a situation like this they should understand, they should motivate their juniors, they should treat us like an employee. My friend-- they should understand.

I can't tell you how much i agree or how much i feel the same. As a matter of fact, i'm not married and do not have that much expenses hopefully. But still i do not enjoy the work anymore, this daily routine you have mentioned applies to me more or less and i'm quite concerned where this world is going to.
