Summer is here, would you work or plan to travel?

I think this year we will taking long weekend trips instead of week long trips. Long weekend trips are closer to home as well.

Well, I really want to go on a short vacation this summer. I have been working so hard all winter, and the weather was so awful this year, I just have spring fever and want to get away. Unfortunately, I am short on cash and I don't thing that I can afford to do anything. Plus, we have a trip planned in October for 2 weeks that I am really looking forward to, and am working on saving up some money for fujn while we're there. So, right now the plan is to work as much as possible and have a great time in October.

well...in these times i ll betta work .I used to go every summer somewhere or the other.....but now....i dont think its possible.....

Well, friend, I am going to have two weeks of summer holiday. I will not do any specific just stay home and be, relax and use my free time online. Do the things I like to do the most. I work 6 weeks during this summer holiday, so those two weeks are going to me needed for relaxing. I am not a person who like to travel, I rather stay home and enjoy of my home. I think holidays should be used to enjoy your self with the things You like the most.As a kid I remember when my folks had their summerholiday, we always traveled, I just remember it as a not relaxing trips. Packing your car with stuff and have screaming kids just can not stay friends...loud noises in the car...I always thought is that really a holiday? No, I like to stay home, so that is what I will do the summer of 2009

For me this has not been a very good year finacialy. I have over $800 in debt. I have to earn more now just to pay back every single dollar while running my family. No vacation for me at the moment. I am working on time management. Trying to get the maximum out of myself.

I work for myself and i feel it's so hard to make money in the recent economic condition, so i'm not going to take a vacation, i have to focus on my business.

yes, i'm planning to travel in august, 3 weeks of holidays. i do not know yet where i will go, i'm just checking hotels availability and prices... this year it seems to me that hotel prices are very high!!

I am a substitute teacher, so I won't be working this summer. I plan on hanging out with the kiddos.

Summer is from June to August in my home country. I am expecting a baby in late June so in the last few months of my pregnancy I hope to have a restful time. I focus my energy on home improvements. I traveled to South Africa in January so that was my summer holiday. Vacationing is important to me. I don't make much money but I work really hard.

I have to work more and more in this summer because i have taken a educational loan which i have to pay this year and now i have also lost my job so i have decided that this year i will hark very very hard so that i will be able to repay my loan amount and after that i will start saving money andnext year i will go for a foreign trip may be to europe country

yes i plan to travel here Vietnam korea japan china thailand and whole europe but money????????? 1st i need to plan where to get money for traveling those contrys do hard work and invest in nice plan is best suite for me

I plan to focus at work and save more money. It is hard to earn money these days due to recession. You know, money doesn't grow on trees and it is getting difficult now as time passes due to greed and power. So, our younger generation will be a pity one. I hope that in the future our world will be a better one but I doubt it will happen.

My suggestiong is :focus on making money and saving your dough?In the recent economic condition,it's no time to spent money,and every body would save their money?Maybe you can plan your vacation next summer?

hmm..its depend on the needed. but if i may suggest the summer should use with vacation in order to we need some refreshing too. i think every people have different decision with their summer time. if summer time is used by making money it's ok because its very usefull not only use with just fun. and my opinion with people that going no where its fine because it's their decision.

Well, a lot of it is depending on how things work out with me Health wise. I am having cataract surgery on my right eye on June 1st, and then waiting to see what they will do with my left eye, and then going from there. So for me, we will first get my Eyes taken care of, and determine from there what is Best. We may just settle for going somewhere closer, and look at going somewhere better next year.

Well Im not really going to do anything special since im getting surgury and I have to be out of work for a month wich is a good thing. But I probally wont go anywhere or do anything for the first month of the summer since I get it next week but hopefully ill do something during july or agust wich I hope to do some traveling.

I would like to travel if I had lots of money. As it is, I barely have enough to get me through each day. This might change very quickly if I won the lottery. Then, I will travel and enjoy this world while it's still there. Cheers!!

I will find a part-time job.Save money,so i can travel next summer holiday.:)

My family is going on a road trip this summer. We will end up driving about 5,000 miles over about 12 days. We are going to the beach and to visit some of the cities where I grew up. I have been dreaming of this for about 17 years so I am really excited. God has really blessed us this year.
