My ultimate tearjerker song would be Charlie Wilson's Without You. It's a super sad break-up song. These are my favorite lines: "... The sun doesn't shine without you Never noticed what it feels like to be without you Feels like I took my last step And my last breath And my life's ending"

I decided to visit Youtube first, before replying to this. And yeah, I love the song. Didn't realize that the title is Without You. Yeah, that song is one tear jerker too. I am really a cry baby when it comes to sad songs. I hope I don't give you guys the wrong impression of me, as a certified emo... coz I hope I am not. I am guessing you're from the Philippines. If ever, then I am sure you are familiar of the sad songs by Side A band, MYMP. Also, one song that really makes me cry, yet I definitely recommend...is Kyla's version of If the Feeling is Gone.

...and my favorite part of the song: "There's a sadness in your smile, though I try to conceal it, I can tell that the feeling is gone..." That is just so sad :-(

I think I like to stay away from sad songs when I'm hurting, for it makes it a lot harder for me to get over things, Now don't get me wrong, I love a beautiful song, but when I'm really down, I try to stay away from tearful songs

Whenever I hear Christina Aguilera's song called "Hurt". My daughter and I went through some tough times when she was in high school and one day she emailed me the lyrics to the song. "I'm sorry for blaming you For everything I just couldn't do And I've hurt myself By hurting you" The tune is beautiful as well.

My pleasure to share with you kryzell. You really must listen to the song . .though part of it sounds as if she is speaking to someone that has passed I think it is more about redemption and trying to find a way to begin again. Thank you for the link. I checked it out before responding here. I was expecting to here a male since the first name is Johnny, lol! And yeah... the thought, of the song is just right for it's tune. Nice song. I love the part: I wear this crown of thorns upon my liars chair, full of broken thoughts I cannot repair. Indeed, that was a very deep song. And even if I don't listen much to the song, the tune itself is sad enough.

Hi CMTS_87! I have heard about S Club 7, but I thought most of their songs were for dancing, lol! After I searched this song on Youtube, I realized that I have heard tis song a lot of times before. It is a good song, reminds me of good old times, when me and a few friends back in college would sing it in karaoke. Then again, it is still another song of letting go...another sad one.

The song "Heaven Knows" was also once a tear jerker for me when my boyfriend broke up with me.. Everytime I hear that song it just reminds me of our past and I can't help myself but to cry hard.. Another songs are "Skin" by Rascal Flatts and "Concrete Angel" by Martina Mcbride. It has powerful lyrics. The former is about a cancer patient who finds true love and the latter is about a battered girl who pretends she's okay in school.
