My husband's uncle is the oldest person in my family, he is 83 yo and still very active. He likes to work on his garden, jogging, and visiting relatives. I think it's amazing that he can manage to stay healthy until he reaches that age. Maybe because he doesn't smoking nor drinking. What about you, who is the oldest person in your family?? How old is he/she?? Does he/she still active???

My grandma (my dad's mom) is 93. She's in the best shape of her life. Even though now she's hard of hearing and forgets things easily she can still go up and down stairs super fast. She still moves around and everything like that. We don't think she is going anywhere anytime soon.

My grandfather(dad of my mother) is 84 years old and still in good shape except the deteriorating sights (not very severe). He tries to stay healthy and do as much physical and mental excercises everyday as he can. Also he keeps a very good daily diet, which I suppose contributes a lot.

Hello always_natalia. The oldest person in my family is my dad who is 66 years old. He is still very active. He teaches part-time at school as a professor. During his spare time, he jogs around the neighborhood. He doesnt get tired easily, unlike me. He doesnt smoke and drinks occasionally. He is also involve in organizations, like helping the street children.

I have a great-aunt that is still living she just turned 84, she's a little thing, not even five foot, but she's sweet, and everytime I see her, she'll come up and give me a hug. We almost lost her last year, she had a massive heart attack and the doctor's were really doubtful that she would make it because her heart was so weak, she spent almost a month in ICU, but the thing is she was alert the whole time, she recognized everyone who came to see her. The doctors started telling her daughter that maybe it was time to think about turning the machine off because she couldn't breath on her own, it was the hardest thing to go through for all of us. Lo and behold she came out of it, got out of the hospital and she's doing real good now, she's still active, maybe not as much as before but you can't keep her home..lol.

The eldest person in my family is my yaya (nanny in English). I don't really know what her age is because she is not that type of a person who loves to chat. But in my estimation, I think she's 60 years of age already. She's been living with us since she's 14 years young. Pretty young, right? She worked in a really young age.. I don't know the whole story but I think she can't find her real family anymore in the province so she decided to stay with us for good.. She took care of me and my siblings since we were babies. She held us in her arms like any other mother would do. I treat her as my second mother. There may be some misunderstandings between the two of us sometimes but I always managed to fix it. Yes, she is still active. Still very alive and kicking. She is still as strong as a carabao! Happy myLotting!

My uncle is the oldest person in our family. He is 87 years old, a former US veteran. At his age he still stands tall and healthy. Maybe because he also doesn't smoke and drink. What I want with my uncle is the way he dress himself. He looks like he's only 35 years old and still looking young.

My aunt is almost 80, I think she is the oldest person in our family. She still does prison ministry on Thursday afternoons. She would like to go out to the streets and bars to meet and help people but her husband won't let her!! Last year, she started a church for those who are not generally accepted by the church world. You know, those who did not grow up in church, or those who are not "picture perfect " and the church only tolerates them, those who have been in prison and such. She's been pastoring it for about a year! So yes, she is still active!

The oldest person in my family is my mom's mother, or my grandmother. She is 95 years old and still very much active. She still cooks, goes to the market, and reads the newspaper everyday without a reading glasses! She never fails to amaze me. She is just amazing and unbelievable.
