I agree.. women doubt whether they are attractive while men are mostly confident. And yes sometimes overconfident. :P
So that's why women feel the need to hear from someone they look attractive. I guess its also because men are quicker to tell other people they don't look good rather than women and maybe they are also more immune to criticism than women. just my opinion. I'd like to know whether or not its true. :P

i think women have a lot more media pressure to look a certain way which means women tend to be more insecure than men, Its sad that so many women seem to think thats the most important thing they can ask about im sure all of these women have more important issues goin on in their lives but they seem to need the validation of strangers to make them feel better about themselves. Everbody should know that the important tool they have to suceed and be happy in life is their brain not there face or body or hair, and if someone judges me on my looks alone thats not somebody i would consider important to my life anyways. mayby if we all stop responding to these questions people will stop asking them

well well as for women i don't kno ...maybe they spend so much time putting on their makeup they feel bad if it doesn't pay off........maybe they give too much impotance to how they look......
as for men...well i dont think we care much about how we look....come on there so much more to us than looking good we would rather have our other qualities impress u....rather than our looks...

I guess women are the beauty - conscious type of human beings, and they constantly look at the mirror to see whether they are pretty enough at the moment. For men, they are different species, and they have something else obsess with.

Because, women are more insecure about their appearance and bodies than men are. That and almost all women just like to hear that they are attractive. We like the attention lol.
