]and we are still working through things. My hubby had overtime taken away for almost a year. Don't misunderstand, the extra time with him has been terrific. As a family we love the time together. Tomorrow he has some over time. He called and told me tonight. Of course, the plans we had will be postponed until he gets home. How often have you been glad for over time?

I appreciate overtime because it lets my family do a little bit more. For example, go on vacation to Florida or even just go out to eat or see a movie. I do not live to work, however.. I work in order to live and appreciate my family. No more, no less.

I hate overtime! My husband's job demands that he work 50 hours a week. That's just how many hours his position is meant to put in. That position can't cut back on overtime, because if they could, hubby would do it. He hates being away from home so much, and the kids are normally in bed before he gets home. He's doing what he has to do to support our family, and we know there is no other job that will pay him as much as he's getting now. Sometimes though, I'd be willing to take the pay decrease to have him home more often.

Any work at all is good right now for my hubby. We are still struggling to make ends meet right now and it is hard enough to scrounge up money for the bills and so any over time whatsoever is a blessing.

We were always happy to get some overtime too. We surely could use the extra money too. My husband and I both, work seven days a week right now. It is very tiresome but the money is good also.
