Yes, probably because I didn't had a good sleep the night before last sleeping session. Well, not to mention, when I got up, I thought that I need to get to go washroom to get my teeth clean. Well, I was surprised to see that no one was sleeping on bed, usually my father and my brother are on bed. To make me even more surprise, my sister was playing games on PC. I said "Wow! That is still very early in morning." Then again I heard something from other room. My mum was watching TV. I was so very surprised, I thought this is a morning or what? I started scratching my head and thinking which time I got slept. Then I recalled that it was still afternoon when I slept and now it is evening not a morning. BulSh|t I got slept at 1 in the noon time. Got up at 5:30 at the evening. This is the exact time I use to get up in the morning. Hence the anomalies occur, funny isn't it? Had you been in such situaion before? PS: Sorry carrine, I think I have shared this story with you earlier!

Hi sanunau!!! Well I have slept at noon many many times. Even I do it nowadays. Yesterday I slept for 2 hours. Nowadays I am having holiday, and have nothing really important to do and mostly at day times I become so so lazy, especially because I sleep late late in the night. i.e at about 1 am or 2 am. Then again sleep comfortable at the noon. I think, I sleep dreamily more in the daytime than in the night time. Every time I sleep at the day time, I dream of various things. And if in case my friend came to call me at the home, then I won't hear him too hehe...I just put the earphone, listen to the music and get the nice relaxed sleep and don't care out the outer world hehe and this has happened manytimes. Even sometimes, I get scolding from my mom for doing that hehe.... I think you felt the day so special and your subconscious mind thought it so amazing that your sister that every one has woken up and only you're the one hehe...But I want to remove my habit of sleeping at day time. It makes me lazy lazy and lazy for the whole day. Firstly I get lazy and then sleep and then if I slept then can't even wake up hehe...

Ho ho ho! LOL! You reminded me of my student age. AT that time, during summer holidays, I was acting the same as you are acting with only one difference. We had no cellphones during that time period. HE he he he I don't know if it was a special day. It was a usual day, It was like I have never had a good sleep in day time for a long time! LOL

Hmm a lazy girl. Well, if I get to know about your age then I can give better answer. Whene I was a teen ager, I used to be sleeping at most 10-11 hours a day. It was like having sleep from 9 in the night to 8 in the morning and on sunday I used to be in bed till 11 o clock. So, you are nothing compared to me!

Hello sanuanu. It is funny that you slept yourself unable to distinguish the hour of the day. You are not an exception because I had the same case before. It usually happens when I take a long nap in the afternoon, waking up to think that it is morning. Then I have to think hard to make sure what time of the day it is. hehehe

Glad to hear that I am not that exception! Just because our mind thinks that it is morning after every nap, makes us go confused! Thanks michael for the compliment.

I can remember that one time I had been awake for almost 36 hours and I had been travelling most of the time and hence when I get back home, I went to bed and was sleeping for more than 15 hours or so! That was some reliefe for me!

Yes, I have been through such situation many times when I am tired or if I am coming home after a big outing and put on the tv and suddenly go to sleep not knowing what time is it. Also, it occurs most of the times while studying, when I study late night and I close the door of my room for studying silently and sometimes I lay on the bed studying like I am not learning or byhearting but reading a novel and go asleep. Then I wake up at 4-5 am in the morning after gaining consciousness and then put the lights off and go back to sweet dreams again. This unexpected sleepness is a nice thing sometimes as we feel very relax and fresh after getting up!!

Your very perfect word using anomalies, because you were in the state of a deviation from the common rule. If I were in your shoes, I hope when I woke up I am already living happily in the next world. It is a part of my many wishes before I fall asleep. Not a joke mannnnnnnn! it's my truly wish.

Usually when we have a deep sleep, our thought would be at random and when we wake up, we would sometimes be quite confused where we are and what we are doing. Such is also part of our life between "wake" and "sleep". Wish is a wish. Some can be made true while others not.

Hmmm, have you ever been in a boring seminar or had a sleepless nights for two days in succession? Because when you will be in such situation, you will hardly know that you are going to be sleeping at any moment. It would be interesting to know if you can still make a wish!

After a good sleep, you can still say Bull$hit? But yeah, I've been like that before too. I was so much in deep sleep after a very tiresome night and woke up about 1 in the afternoon. I greeted everyone with "Good morning" and they all laughed at me. Doesn't it make you seem disoriented at first when you wake up thinking that it's morning only to see that the sun isn't in its usual place?

Nah, it is not the case with me, if I am sleeping early morning or late night, I never got caught in that kind of trap. The only problem I have had with my after noon nap! Once when I was in night job, I slept in afternoon and got up at 12 midnight, I was feeling so scared that I missed my cab to the office but luckily the cab came late that night!

I usually try to avoid going to sleep in the afternoon, because if I take a nap in the afternoon then I have a really hard time falling asleep at night. but one day last week, I was just too tired and had to lie down. I figured an hour or so would get me through the rest of the day. Well, my family called me for dinner 3 hours later, and it was at this point that I just decided to stay in bed for the night. For the first time in a long time, I actually felt well rested in the morning.

You probably just lost your mind on this. This occur to me before, and I thought that I lost mind too. I don't find it surprise, somehow we just lost track of time while we were at sleep. It will be all right though. At least you know where you are. It is not dream, you still with your family, and you just got up from a really tired afternoon nap.

Yesterday I have over slept. I slept for 12 hours or more and when I woke up I feel guilty for it was night time again and haven't seen daytime yesterday. I dont know but for me I really dont like oversleeping makes my body really tired. not like now i only got to sleep 3- 4 hours and for me the sleep was great and everything follows. It's like I have mad use of my time wisely and have done lots of stuff.

I am not quite sure I follow all of that but it seems as though you got some very needed rest. About this time of the afternoon I am usually wishing for the opportunity to take a nap.

Wow, you really had quite a long sleep. However, i think it's still fine that according to studies, it is good for our body to have some rest or to take nap in afternoon, but i think your nap is a little long too, haha. I do had such experience that i slept in the afternoon and get up in the evening, and it was near to night time. I was really blur at that time that i thought it was already the morning of next day, but soon i looked at the clock only i know it was still the same day. I think next time you should set the alarm to wake you up after some time, so that you won't sleep for too long and wake up blurred.

I didn't plan to sleep on that after noon, thus I couldn't set an alarm for getting up. I thought of taking a nap or two but it lasted that long. Do you use a clock which shows you the date also? Is it a wall clock!?

When I was in college, one year I lived in Germany and I went home for Christmas. I got a cold and was sick when I flew back to Germany. When I got back to my room it was evening and I went straight to sleep. I woke up and it was dark outside and my roommates were talking in the kitchen. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 6:00. I thought it was really odd that they were talking at that time in the morning. I went out to see what was going on and found out that it was 6 the next evening. I had slept almost 24 hours. Guess I needed the sleep!

I often go to sleep in the early evening and wake up about 9 in the night and feel that I have slept the whole night, this usually happens when I have had a very active day. It does confuse me for a time.

You must have been really out of it! I sleep late all the time, myself, but it's because I don't sleep well at night. Also, I go to bed late all the time. I've always been a night owl, anyway. I always have a lot to do at night like getting on the computer and responding to and starting discussions in mylot, checking my email, etc. I always have music to practice, too. I stay pretty busy. I know sleeping late really messes up your day. If I had a job to go to, it would be a different story. Kathy.

If I had a job to go to, it would be a different story. Kathy. You said it correct! If I had a job, I would have not been sleeping late at night because I would have a duty waiting next morning. I had been working in night jobs too and my experience wasn't that good, hence I quit that job and waiting for another one!

indeed, I also want to have sleep for 7-8 hours a day/night. I usually get only 6 hours of sleep. myLot is also behind it. I use to do myLot in night as well as morning also, hence I don't get much time in night to have a sleep for 8 hours!
