Do you ever clean your CPU ?

Hello dhawanbm, yes, I have cleaned my CPU but only once till today though my computer is about 8 years old. There was really a lot, lot of dust. I along with my cousins help brushed out all the dust that was sticking in the heat sink. I thought the irritating sound that was being made was by the processor. But I was wrong hehe...It was power supply fan and I had to clean the power supply fan to clear up the noisy problem. And i finally became successful. Happy mylotting...

It would be crazy to clean your CPU, but I think you mean you clean the dust from your motherboard which may periodically need doing. If this happens very frequently you should think about adding an extra fan to your system as lots of dust may mean that you are not getting a good airflow and therefore the system is not cooling efficiently.

Hi friend, I can't clean my CPU now.Previously i used to do it,but there is no need to clean it because i am using laptop now and previously i had desktop for which i used to clean once in 2 weeks.But now i am not having the problem of cleaning the CPU hehehe... Have a nice day

I Don't clean it routinely. Sometimes if I'm in the mood for cleaning, I open the case and Clean it. Well, not really clean, I'm afraid something's wrong lol Especially cleaning the fans at the processor hahaha.

I not usually clean the CPU but if system not working and its minor issue, then i clean it usually, just for own satisfaction, otherwise not.

I do clean it,but once in a year.
