How many tubes of Chapstick or carmex do you have.

I was just cleaning out my purse and I had about 6 partial tubes of the stuff floating around. I know I have at least one in the car and two next to my bed and I always put one in my pocket before work. So my question is how many do you have???? I know I always buy at least 3 at a time. I hate to be without it because I hate chapped lips. I must put it on at least three times a day. I am always giving my daughter a new tube because she looses hers so I do not feel bad finding all these in my pocket. Seriously how many does a person need to feel protected from the elements?

I think I have one in my handbag and maybe one in the bag I take to the gym. I have a pot of Nivea cream in the bathroom that I use when I'm home.

I think I may have used something like that before. Doesn't Nivea have something for the face as well? Or is it for the face that you use?

I don't know if I Still have it but I had the flavored chapstick stuff in my purse and there were atleat 20 of those in the package, then I had like two or three. Now though I use only one. I don't mind having chapped lips and usually just rake the chapness from my lips. I actually am starting to care more, I hate when it goes so bad it burns to open my mouth too wide (chapped at the side) .

Oh yes, I have been better about taking care of my lips. It used to get that bad but I didn't do anything about it, just went ow when I ate. Now I don't let it get that bad. It's funny how just the lips can make a person look like they don't take care of themselves. I make a conscious effort.

How about when your lips are so chapped they bleed. That is horrible. I try to keep mine from getting that bad. It is nice to see other people carry around a lot of this stuff too.

I know how you feel, all but the part about your daughter loosing hers. My daughter is exactly the opposite. She receives them as gifts at Christmas and such and doesn't use them. I then find them here there and almost everywhere, and I use them up. They are not the name brand then, however they are always (almost) some wild flavor. Which is ok by me since I don't care for plain but some are seriously wild. Anyways I just hate when I have to buy this stuff. Isn't that terrible? I know it doesn't cost much but oh it does cost. I have found that in the winter near Christmas time I can find this stuff at aldi's here for like 50 cents a tube. That to me is about the cheapest I have found it and I can only say I would be equally as thrilled to find at the bottom of my purse the same 6 partially used tubes. Currently I don't think I could put my hands on that many with any in them but.... I am sure I have that many empty ones in the crafty things. I am SURE I will someday make a end table lamp for Barbie some day with that empty tube and who knows what else with those empty tubes. Of course on the other hand.... When I run out and am not able to buy some because it's not 50 cents and or I can't find it and actually feel like I can buy it I fill up the tube with vaseline. I would sure love to find a "recipe" which I am sure would combine vaseline with wax to make a great fill for my empty tubes. Especially here in the south you don't want to keep chapstick in anything and forget that "purse" or "clutch" or "whatever" your storing it in.... in the sun or shade for long as even the expensive stuff does melt away and make a bit o' mess! God Blesses! Sandy
