Have you ever accused someone of doing something they didn't do?

I for one am guilty of such. There have been moments in my life where I humiliate myself because of assuming things that weren't really true. I couldn't say really that I have publicly humiliated myself or caused a scene or such but I definitely have accused someone of something they didn't do.
All I could do is to apologize profusely until they would grow tired of saying 'It's Okay'.
Have you ever done this?

i have done this at some point of my relationship. often i am accusing my bf that he is having another affair. 
but this is just my way to get his attention. 
women are sometimes like this being too childish especially when with bf

Whoah, I definitely know how you feel. I've been in that situation too. But you know what, you should not keep on doing that because sooner or later they'll be tempted to really have an affair just to make your assumptions true. I mean, if you keep no assuming or accusing him that he has got an affair, then why not just get an affair so you'd shut up. So be careful.

Ys, I did it once, as far as I can remember. I have accused my niece for saying something which she didn't say. She was a gentlelady herself so, on appologizing, she excused me. I was crying when she was excusing me.
I have not talked her for three days for the fault she didn't commit. She was very sad from me but thanks to one of my cousion, who told me the truth and we got united again. I even remember the date it happened. 2nd July, 1997 when we fought and 4th July 1997, when we get unite again!

It is unwise to accuse some one for not doing some thing. We should have planned in such a way that it should not have any failure. Accusing is wasting of some more time. Usually I will not accuse any one for their doing or non doing something.
