What are your summer plans?

My children and I are planning to go on a camping trip for ten days at the beginning of August. We are going to Englishtown Campground which is about an hour and a half drive away. There is a pool and a beautiful mountain and seashore there. Also we hike up in the woods and get wild blueberries and have them with cream and sugar. We have camp fires and roast marshmallows and make smores. I am very lucky that we are able to do this.

I kicked off the summer season with a trip to the Outer Banks, NC for Memorial Day weekend. There was four of us that went, myself, my daughter, and a couple of her friends. We stayed in a beach house right on the beach. We had a great time. We just spent yesterday having a garage sale and will be having another in 2 weeks! Then I'll be helping my daughter and son-in-law move to their new house around the 20th of June, we have a scrapbooking day/going away party (for me) set for June 26th, the 28th of June I'll be moving from Virginia back to Texas. Then I'll be settling into a new job, finding a new place to live, and my fiance moving to Texas also. And on top of moving and everything else I'll be planning our wedding for Sept 19th. So, as far as a vacation goes, already took it Memorial Day weekend, and the special trip will be moving back to Texas.

My Hubby and I are going to Disneyland to celebrate our 10th anniversary. I am very excited. We have taken the kids to Disneyland a few times but never just gone the two of us. We love the magic there. We are also going to Yellowstone National Park and Mesa Verde. That is all we have planned but Im sure we will do some other fun stuff. I love summer.

I have got 6 weeks hols as I am a teacher. Myself and my boyfriend are going to the maldives for the first 2 weeks. Im so excited cos we I have never been on a fancy holiday before! The rest of my holiday will be spent clearing out cupboards and cleaning the house. Hope you have a good one
