If I don't want to use sugar in beverages, what is the best substitute sweetner with no side effects, which is preferably all natural? Any ideas?

Honey is a good alternative to refined sugar. Agave nectar is really good too. I prefer the flavor of honey, but agave nectar dissolves better in cold liquids. Another product on the market is stevia, which is a sweetener derived from a plant. I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of people seem to like it.
