I prevoiusly tried dialup connecition but it was a costly affair and now I have turned to broadband one from bsnl, its worth it and is very fast to surf. Although its faster yet I am thinking to get some unlimited plan, any Ideas?

broadband is the "in" thing here in my country... i dont know if there are still people here that uses dial-up. we had dial-up before but its slow and its always disconnecting. when broadband became the trend here, and many isp are offering less payment we switch to broadband. i have unlimited broadband connection which cost about $20 monthly... i really like it since i can go online all day or any time of the day, and the speed is fast...

jayrene I think 100mbps is the speed of the modem or what do you say? Find out the speed of your connection and then tell me!

My connection in surfing is wireless broadband but it is not as fast as you think because I only get a speed of 250 kbps. A 384 mb tv series will take you 3 - 4 hours before it will be complete. I think you should get unlimited plans so that you can have a fixed payment in a certain period of time. Just use it always.

To surf the Internet at home we have a DSL connection with Verizon. It seems to work fine most of the time. I would recommend them to new users due to thier initial pricing for the service. I used to have dial-up years ago and of course compared to the work or verizon DSL connection it can be considered SLOW! I would go for the most affordable plan that offers the best speed.

I have a wired broadband connection for my internet. It is fast and does not always have problems compared to wireless broadband connection I used to have. It is more stable and a telephone line is not required anymore.
