I watched the two versions of Sassy Girl movie for me I love the original version of it which is Korean. It is funnier and it can make you cry in the end of the story. It is comedy and drama which can make you laugh and cry. Unlike the American version I don't like the remake of it because the story is different and I'm disappointed in the ending. What about you did you watch it and how do you find the story?

I prefer the american. No offense but korean m0vies always lacks something. It's like they don't give their best in producing g0od m0vies.

I love the original Sassy Girl because it really touch our hearts. There are times that you laugh so hard and there are times that you cry so hard. And that is a real and great movie. And also I like the love team. American version is also nice but not as the korean version. There is something that really didn't catch my attention in american version.

I have only watched the korean movie and I think it is really better off compared with the western version. There are just those situations in the asian version which is really more appealing and I think wouldn't work if western people did it on screen. So far, I have not watched the western version but, if ever given the chance, I guess I would try to look at it too and see if it is what I expected or something nice can still be found after all. When its a romance-comedy, the drama is really more intense as we get pulled along with scenes that are completely funny and then get to realize the seriousness of the characters as the storye begins to be dramatic. What most romance-comedies have in nature. Quite good too.

I have not yet seen the American version, but i know that the Korean is still the best.. From their popular and original love stories that are being dubbed and aired here in the Philippines, i can say that they really know the meaning of the word Romantic and Sweet.

I love the Korean version more because the Asian culture is reflected much. What is lacking with the American is the fact that the producers tried to customize the movie to the acceptable American culture. Nothing beats the tree in the mountain (compared to the tree in central park).

of course, nothing beats the original. any remake will have a handicap of being close to the original and at the same time recreating its own place in the story. i like the korean version since it is the basis of the remake and it made sassy girl a global hit. when i watched the korean movie, i laughed, cried and fell in love. it was a great movie which is hard to follow.

I didn't watch the Hollywood version of My Sassy Girl. I did watch the Korean version - I even watched its supposedly prequel, Windstruck. Both movies are hell funny and at the same time, tear jerking! I didn't think Hollywood could have adapted the movie in any decent way because they couldn't recreate the crazy lady character even if they sold their souls LOL. It's an "Asian thing" Heard of the Hollywood adaptation of Dragonball? It was disastrous!!! Thank you for your response on my discussion!

Nothing beats the original as always so I go with the Korean version although the American is not that bad.. It's great actually but the Korean is the greatest.

Hi there. Yes of course, nothing beats the original and so it applies in this topic. I like the korean version more. I think I didn't enjoy watching the american version that much although it's Elisha Cuthbert. I didn't have the same feeling compared to that I felt when I watched the korean version. It was actually the first and only korean movie I have ever watched. I am not fond of korean movies and stuff compared to fellow Filipinos but I was really touched by the movie. It made me cry and I was really in to the movie while watching it. It was a good movie and the American version lacked the feeling of what the original version made us feel. Well then maybe I only expected much from the American version but in my own opinion, it really didn't have that blush feeling and the tears I cried from the korean version. So I go for the korean version..
