My tags don't appear in the discussion!

Recently I noticed that.if there are already five tags,I can't find my tags to any discussion.Is there any limits for tags?Don't we mind leaving tags if there are many?

When you start a discussion you can place 10 tags but only 5 will be visible. If you add tags when responding to other discussions, if 5 are already showing then yours will not be visible unless others have tagged with the same words.

So,if there are already five tags,should I leave my response without a tag?Shall I skip it?

I add tags even if there are already 5, I always add them. It could just happen that you add one that another user has added too and then it would appear. The 5 that show are the ones that are added the most.

Now I got it.More people giving the same tag,then it will appear.So,I will not skip tagging.I will be tagging as before for all my responses.Thanks for the information.Cheers!

yes, the maximum limit is five but it doesn't mean that other tags don't count. It is like myLot collects every tags from users and the most popular five tags will be shown in the page. I hope it coudl help you understand it in a better way!
