http://in.news.yahoo.com/139/20090529/385/ten-pros-and-cons-of-being-a-man-or-a-wo.html The article actually lists some ten pros and cons of belonging to each gender. So what would you have prefered to be born as. Do you prefer you were born as the opposite gender because of some cons you face or are you happy with what you are?

I don't think I woudl require to read that article to decide if I am happy with my gender or not but it doesn't mean that I will not read the article! I am happy with my gender and I would love to be in this way in this birth. May be in next birth, I will try a different gender to actually know about the feelings of a woman!

Hi. Thanks to God, we don't decide our gender before birth. It is a tough decision to make. I am happy to be a boy, mostly because in our society girls have to hear more nos then a man. But seeing the pros and cons listed on the article, it seems to me that both are really equal. No gender too great here.

I still prefer to be born as my present gender in my next life given the choice. I did face some cons but not to the extent i want to be the opposite gender, i very much able to overcome all the cons in my present gender with determination, plenty of hard works and courage within me.

When my period has just started and the painkillers don't work I often wish that I were a man instead of a woman but aside from that I like being a woman. I like dresses, high heels, my make-up and my long hair and I like the fact that I get to choose between lots of different clothes and hairstyles. I think that I would miss quite a lot of feminine/girly things if I were a man, but of course there are also positive things about being a men and I think that some things are easier when you are a man.

Some of the women pro's I don't fancy at all. I am a woman. I sort of not happy with people perspective about women, like the salary and all. Sometimes I wish I am a man because of the advantage in work and respected leadership. And I don't like doing house chores. That is what women suppose to do in my place..lol...

I agree. Though now things seem to be improving in some way for women. They do gain respect from their workplace. Though slow there is progress.
