When i was little my parents used to tell me, " Your childhood days are the best days of your life. Enjoy them while they last." i never listened to them at that time. Now that i'm 20 and i look back i feel that i didn't exploit my childhood to the fullest. Now my life is full of worries and responsibilities and i wish i could be a child and live life without any worries. So guys, Do you wish you could be a child too??

Hi there, Do you know your discussion has been a part of myLot digest for 2nd June'09. Congratulations pal! Do you have any medicine by using which we can get back to our young child age. God, I miss those days. yes, I was a little shy boy who was always afraid of fights but indeed those were golden days for me. The sports which we could afford to play at that age were supers, the hide and seek was the best of those!

I have always wished I could go back to being a kid again. I never had anything to worry about back then. I was very happy when I was a kid. Except when my parents divorced. Then I fell apart. My mom I think did a good job raising us well though. I always thanked her for that.

I wouldn't change some of the opportunities I've had for the world, but I do miss some of what I had as a child. I wish that I could be both an adult and a child. I wish I could have the 100% unconditional love and support of my parents while I work on being an adult now. While I raise my own children I wish I had the back up of my family because I'm still their child.

Everybody wants to be child again because they enjoy their life but you could not enjoyed your life in childhood. it is impossible to be child again, but you can cherish that enjoyment by loving your child, you should give him/her the full opportunity to enjoy his/her life. if you are not married you have to wait until you have a child....

What a GREAT question! No, I would not want to be a child again. I was painfully shy, I have a brother who is mentally ill and was not easy to grow up with, and I had a lot of health problems and operations when I was a child. So, all in all, I'm glad to be an adult.

Yes, how I wish I could be a child again. But times have passed and can never be back again. I love my younger years, with my parents and brothers, we were altogether eating together, going to mass together, going to places together and many more. Now no more, no more parents we are all grown up and we have our own families but we often see each other. We all like our childhood days.

When I was a small kid, I had so many dreams.I thought the future could be anything I wanted to make it. I could take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it as I imagined, it's like a sculptor carved a statue from a shapeless stone. Remember when I was a kid and my biggest worry was, like, if I'd get a bike for my birthday, or if I get to eat cookies for my breakfast. You know how when you were a kid and you believed in fairy tales? That fantasy of what your life would be. White dress, Prince Charming, Who'd carry you away to a castle on a hill. You'd lie in bed at night and close your eyes, and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus were once so close, you could taste him. But eventually, you grow up. One day you open your eyes, and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people that are totally pracical. A house, With a closet; a car, with a windshield;a bag, with your stuff in it; ... Anyway, the clouds will still be floating tomorrow and we can follow them. A life can be beartiful without regrets if we just continue to work hard.

There were things I loved about childhood, but I've enjoyed adulthood so much more than childhood that I don't want to go back.

No way! I would not wish to be a child again. Why? I enjoy being an adult I can make my own decitions I Am my own person. I can not understand why any grown up person want to be a child again? what is the point on that? just imagine your parents telling you what to do and what not? now don'take me wrong I had a nice chilhood and I thanks my parents for it.I know as an adult I have responsabilities but I embrace then because that is part of my growing up into adulthood, and again I say to you I love being an adult, and I would not like to be a child again

Yes I do wish I was a child again I miss the days were all I had to do is help my mom a little around the house and the rest of the days just play. Ever since I can remember I had to help my mom with things around the house and she would let me play for a little until she wanted me to do something. But I mis those days because now the is no play time and I don't help my mom I actualy have to do everything in my house and I have two kids to take care off. I also had a short childhood I got pregnant when I was 15 so at that time I had to grow up an fast. But I love my kids they are one that make me look forward and try my best in evrything.

NO WAY! I grew up in post WWII and had a lousy childhood. My mother left when I was 5 years old and I had the housekeeper from Hell looking after my brother and myself.

Hey, No I don't really think that I would want to be a child again, the main reason is because I had absolutely no freedom in my life, still now as I am older, my parents still boss me around and tell me what to do. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I do wish I could live in those days again. I often think I wish I could be younger and know what I do now..lol. It was a life with a lot less responsibilities and worries. I would change some things too. Great discussion!

Definitely. I'm only 16, going on 17 soon, but I'm already starting to feel the weight of "growing up" on my shoulders. Sometimes its hard to face the reality of it, because inside I still feel like my young, goofy self. Nowadays I need to shape up and act a lot more serious than I'm used to. It's a big change and I wish I would have taken advantage of all the free time I had when I was a kid.

I won't say I want to be a child again. But I would want to have done more when I was a child. As a child, we just don't know how free it is to live everyday. The biggest pressure comes from study which you are expected to make errors and correct them later. When we are in the society now, we can still make errors but nobody will give you a second chance.
