Do you get frustated at the thought that you don't have enough money?

I have seen many times few of my friends getting very frustrated that there are not enough money with them. When the others, with less capability just earning so much. It was not there with me. I lead a simple life. But I have seen nowadays I get frustrated inside me. I think what I am doing for all these years? Nothing has helped me. A very good academic record, good qualification has provided me nothing. My sincerity in work has gifted me none. Do you feel the same way? Or you just overlook it? I feel more so when I see at my surrounding all the people with less capability etc are getting much more.

I know in today's world money is important. Having little money gives us a lot of stress in our life. With mounting pressure from all directions and growing demands of time, unless one becomes tough-minded, it is difficult to keep pace with tough times. You need to stay alive in your spirit. This can only happen if you keep yourself motivated all the time. It is an art through which you will have the courage and faith to dream big even in the darkest hour. To remain active and enthusiastic are the basic ingredients needed to achieve success. No matter how bad a problem may seem on the surface, if you remain positive you will see how everything has worked out for the best.

I would suggest you to save money also and cut down some expenses. I always believe that money saved is money earned.

I feel the same way too. I do have a degree but my pay is not the way it should be. At first I don't mind since I am not an experience worker. After nearly a year, I starting to feel frustrated having not enough money every month. I always feel the pay I receive do not equal to the work I done. Hopefully there is a better opportunity for me and I am looking towards it.

Know that Money is not everything... Get the required experience and once you get perfection in your work you can demand for more money. Go slow and stead and you will reach the top!

I do think that we should not lost hope in our lives. Sometimes Faith is all we has and Faith is only thing we need in our lives. I would suggest you to decorate your memories, try to do your best in your life and try to give the rest to God and God will always do the best for us in our lives.

Yes. I get very frustrated especially when the bills seem to take every last nickel you have worked so hard for. My husband and I work seven days a week right now to make ends meet. It is worth it but very tiresome also.

I think it is really frustrating to see all the bills and see that we do not have enough money to pay the bills. One of the best way to deal them is to plan that we can pay the bills in the future.

I thought I was alone! :-) Yes, especially now that my father isn't earning a lot. My elder brother entered priesthood and is therefore not earning anything. I am working but our salaries are always delayed, and sometimes even none for a long time! It seems like everyone is in a crisis! There are bills to pay, needs to buy, debts to settle! Aaaargh! And in the Philippines, there aren't any institutions or programs to temporarily provide the needs of unemployed. It's so hard. The way Im ranting now is one sign that I really am frustrated. Well at least, I am still eating 3 meals a day, able to function fully, I have a family, friends, boyfriend who loves me dearly....God provides!

I do feel the same, but it is the life. Think that money cant buy everything. I know there are many things that money along will do, but getting frustrated about not having enough money wont do anything good to you. I work hard to earn good money but sometimes things wont go the way you wanted. Just overlook it and hope for the best.

I do get frustrated that I don't have enough money. I get frustrated when I try very hard to land jobs and people don't give me a chance to work for them. It's very frustrating because I have a lot of experience in the jobs that I apply for, but because it's not job experience, but rather school experience, people don't give me a chance and it is very frustrating. I work hard and I'm good at it, so why don't people give me a chance to prove that to them?

Most of us do get frustrated if we do not have much money. There are simply so many things that are beyond our reach especially when we do not have much money in our pockets. Sending children to college for instance can be downright impossible for some people who are living in abject poverty. No wonder most of us are frustrated!

I am not sure if frustrated is the word for my reaction to it. I get worried at times and a little frightened. I have to work/pray against feeling bitterness and discouragement.... if I were to add those into the mix I think I would be a wreck.

I get frustrated when i don have enought money. But now I dont have to worry about it because I'm staying in our house right now and everything I do here or eat are all free but the sad thing is I cant buy thing I like or I cant go somewhere to gimmik. When I was renting a place to stay its really hard when I only have enough money for my living. I have to really spend less in a day to be able to save money for the thing I want to buy. Its really frustrating.

In my situation i do not get frustrated when i see my money is not enough. Because for me i came out of this world i do not have money on hand so why should i get frustrated and depressed when i saw my money is not enough. And for me it is normal.

Yes sometimes you do feel bad that you don't have enough disposable income to spend on your fancies, you have to give second thought to buy things of your choice.......but then i feel if god has given the other riches of the world then to the other he gives peace within and something unique that that person only knows......so he has balanced everything out.......but still humans as we are we crib that we don't have enough money to buy things, i admit that i am one of them......sometimes i just don't understand how lucky people can get, they get a share of the booty from their ancestors who have made all the money for them(property, fully set up business, etc) so this makes a person think all the more, god why not me, why only him....... Have a nice day !!!!

I guess I'll get rather frustrated if my quality of life cannot be maintained at a certain level. I should say I lead a moderate, leisure life and I won't use lifestyle as an excuse for a limited life, I guess, as simple life does means you don't spend and some expenses are unavoidabe. I believe that I invest in the human capital of myself, then I'll get paid back in a proper way. But for your case you need to figure out why you earn less than what you deserve. Forget about the fairness 'cause it's the law of free market.

I totally understand your feelings. One of the truth of life is sometimes you do need to wait for a chance, which could never comes. I can tell that you're a person sticking and loyal to your mind and try to make the best of yourself, so don't give up, you're gonna be rewarded in another way.

Hi subha, I try hard not to compare myself with others. In your case, I know where you are coming from as I've followed your story somewhat. Don't compare yourself with your co-workers but rather...pay attention to your own self-worth. I really, really think that your boss is taking advantage of you and your skills. I know jobs are hard to find but I think you should be looking while hanging on to the one you have now. I think you should make it your goal to find another company that is more appreciative of what you have to offer.

I do all the time! Especially when it comes to retirement and my bills! I worry, even though I do have a retirement fund, that I will struggle when I have to retire! That will be in like 20 years or more but I still worry! I also hate seeing all my bills and not getting anywhere with ones that never seem to go down! I get frustrated with that and wish I had the money to pay those type of bills off and not have to worry about them again! I am overlooked when it comes to being promoted on the job! That is really frustrating and I know how you feel! Life sucks sometimes!

Hi Subha, I can see this is a Popular discussion, good thoughts! You know what, i did feel exactly the same like you. I used to be very happy about my work and my salary, things have been change when we have cut our salary because of the economic strom, every one of us have to cut our salary. Start from there, the life expense are still the same and even higher, but in come is less, and my boss is not peace any more, he is easy to get grompy about little things, and i can't feel my value any more. The worst thing is i can't quit! As i still need my salary to move on my life, what a life!

Yes, frustrations usually knock when I did everything I can, when all efforts are exhausted and "still" it ain't enough. Sometimes, I can't help but wonder what else is there to do? It will just make me crazy to think about it too much and dwell with it, whenever I feel frustrated I try to do other things but I always promise myself not to give that up, but I would take time to give it a try someday. I save more and more but stuff gets expensive by a second, lol. I aim for rational things so its easier to achieve but if my efforts will not be enough I have to strive to go another mile coz its what I really want. I'm unemployed but I have my own way of making money, it doesn't pay much but atleast I'm doing everything I can. I just don't buy stuff that I can't afford, lol... whenever I'm dreaming of my own house, a car or land, or helping my family financially - I take it as an inspirational motive to keep me going.

You're not the only one who feels this frustrated like this. Like you, I have a good academic background but it seems that is not enough to get me in the position I'm looking for. Eventually I will have to get a job that near the skills that I went to school for. I also have friend who are very successful in their chosen profession even in this economy and I also look at what direction I'm going and as "What am I doing wrong?" It is really getting hard to try in make a living doing what you want to do as a job. You are forced to do something that you have to not what you want to do.
