Would you ever go for a walk in the rain?

I am not talking about a thunderstorm or a down pour. But a spring rain or sprinkle. It has been raining now for a 3rd day. Kids have got a bit of cabin fever. And I thinking about a short walk with rain slickers might be ok?

Yes we've walked in the rain. We've played outside in down pours. Didn't you ever play in the rain as a kid? I did. Last summer we were all out playing football in the rain! I don't like taking the younger ones out in it though, so what you could do is put your daughter in a raincoat and boots and give her an umbrella and let her play in the yard while you watch from the porch or front doorway. That way you can hear the baby if he needs you. Or just take them for a walk and make sure the baby is covered well and warm enough.

Its been raining on and off here for days. Next time, if its warm enough, maybe I'll even send her out in her bathing suit. LOL that should make a cute video, huh?

I don't know that I have ever intentionally gone for a walk in the rain. At least not since I was a little kid. I think if other than a little bit a rain it is nice out and you don't have a major problem being out in the rain why not.

I used to like to go for a walk in the rian when I was younger. I really do not care for it anymore though because I do not want to get wet or take tha chance on getting sick either.

I like to go for walks, but the drizzle of rain usually deters me. I remember once, at Halloween, it was rainy and cold. Ordinarily, I would have stayed inside, but I just couldn't disappoint my daughter. So, out in the cold we went. I guess I could take a better attitude towards slightly inclement weather. Maybe if I learn more words to the "Singing in the Rain" song it would help. As it is, when the rain comes I tend to stay in side. My daughter will sing "Rain Rain Go Away" or "It's raining it's pouring." I guess I am excessively reluctant to go out in the rain. Perhaps too many admonishments of my mother that I'd catch cold.

I don't think walking in slight rain is such a problem. I'd bring along several umbrella's though if it is possible. I mean, it would be nice to have a few on hand just in case the rain started to pick up. However, I've walked quite a long way in sprinkling rain to classes and to transportation to get to classes without an umbrella and I've survived. I don't think it's so bad as long as you don't come back soaked.

I never do it now. When i was a child, i do it very often everytime it rains we were under the rain, walking running and playing. When the rain stops, we stops too. It is a fun thing especially if you are still a child but when you are already adult, i think it is not so fun.

As long as the weather is warm, I don't see what it would hurt. As long as it is not raining too hard, I wouldn't even worry about the rain suits. A little water isn't going to hurt them. I love to be outside during the summer when I light rain is falling. It is a nice and refreshing feeling. A light summer rain is a nice relief when you have been working outside in the summer heat all day. If you have never experienced the cleansing feeling it provides, I feel sorry for you. It is truly a feeling that I cannot put into words...
