How long have you left laundry in the basket?

It's been washed, dried, and brought upstairs. But you just haven't found the time to fold it. This was my dilemma yesterday. Have you ever left your laundry in the basket for longer than you should?

Happens to me all the time. I loath folding laundry. I have left it for a few days before easily. I actually have a brother that does not fold his at all. He just pulls a wrinkled t-shirt out of the basket and is on his merry way.

Oh, I'm sure we've all done this. I am especially bad about it. I usually wind up having to iron a lot of clothng because they have become so wrinkled. Usually I try not to put them in a basket because if I do that's where I will leave them for God knows how long. Until someone needs something practically. So I try my best to fold straight out of the laundry.

You are better than me. You iron. I just throw it back in the dryer for a bit. Presto, no more wrinkles!

I never leave laundry in my basket. I do two or three loads every single day. I have to because the basket gets full every single day. It would pile up to the ceiling or fall into the floor if I didn't.

Oh, it is easy for me to put off folding laundry. Usually, my wife would fold, but if she doesn't feel up to it then it might fall to me. Sometimes, I get dressed from the laundry basket. (Less to fold, I guess.) Socks are the worst in my house, sometimes they are just a jumble of unpaired socks in a basked that we have to dig through in the morning. :)

This happened to me too! Sometimes, I just feel lazy after a day at work. So, I left the clothes hanging all over and thinking to fold or iron them tomorrow. And you know the same thing happened the next day until I cant stand the sight of the mess, only I start to clear them out!

Hi, ersmommy. Frankly speaking, it happens to me most of the time. Every time i put the laundry in the basket, i always think that i have to find some time for ironing the clothes. But every time, i just forgot about what i am supposed to do or perhaps i am lazy to get it done. Then we will just pull out the clothes that we want to wear from the basket, honestly, i feel bad about this. So i have made up my mind that i should not be that lazy anymore and have to be more organized. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

My wife never leaves them more than a couple of days.In fact she uses the washing machine daily. It makes sense as she got to wash the uniform of my daughter every day with the towels. And she frequently washes the bed linen too.My clothes are washed every third day.So there is a perfect cycle in everything she does.

I leave laundry in the basket until it's time to take the next load out of the dryer, even if that means a couple of days. I always have 1 clean load in the basket, and 1 clean load in the dryer. Once I throw another load in the wash, I'll fold what's in the basket and then remove the clean clothes from the dryer to make room. It will stay that way until I have to wash another load.

Oh my gosh YES! Sometimes laundry will sit in the basket and the family will be pulling things out of it to wear...that's pretty bad! Lately I've gotten myself on a better schedule, but there are always those times when chores pile up and folding laundry is the last thing on my list of priorities!

I am very busy mom so at times I've left the laundry in the basket for up to a week (until it's time to put it away and do another load).
