I am wanting to have a finger food buffet moreless at my wedding. I know I need fruit trays and veggie trays. I am looking for other finger foods that I can do myself. I am getting married this October. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

You could have small pizzas, canapés and small sandwishes for example. Nachos is another suggestion. There are tons of stuff you could have search for Tapas, Meze and antipasti. You could put things on toothpicks as well - cheese and a cherry tomatoe. Good Luck!

It may not fit into every wedding style, but I love "weenies in a blanket": mini hot dogs or sausages (sold in many stores) wrapped in croissant dough (buy pre-made dough in refrigerator section to save time). Half-wrap each one in it's own napkin for better presentation if desired. You may want help making enough for a mid-size or larger gathering, though. Congratulations!

my wife always prefer cheese sticks. wrap cheese on wanton wrappers and fry it. she also makes fruit pizzaas she calls. on wanton wrappers and muffin pans its crunchy and taste like heaven. the wantons are crunchy and fruity at the same time. she put peaches or apples and a little sugar and cinnamon then heat it on the oven. i hope i was in any help to you. congrats on your up coming wedding.

You don't say how many people your expecting. But When we worked down in Mexico we found this delicious treat. Get jalapeños the big ones each one can make 2 or 4 pieces, slice in half lenght wise, scrape out seeds and cut out stem. get a couple packs Philly cream cheese and stuff or fill each half. wrap each piece with a half of strip of bacon. line a cookie sheet with 3 or4 paper towels folde, to absorb the bacon greese. Put the wrapped pieces on the sheet and cook at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes, until bacon is light brown. you can serve as is or cut each piece in half put a toothpick in each one that'll make 4 per.jalpeno! They are really good and not hot! tdemex

for a wedding you definetly need vol au vents, very simple, very tasty. instead of just fruit and veggie trays, use some imagination and make something that looks good. apple turnovers, pear donuts, rice and vegie cakes, sausage rolls, the possibilities are endless, and when its made by you, it feels so special. devilled eggs are very good option, watermelon balls, and mini quiches are all well recieved....good luck.
