I've always thought cartoons are a joke, they teach you that everybody loves eachother, its nice to share, everything has to be done politely--thats why I think they have 'big kid' cartoons that teach you that that's all a big fake. Like Back N the Barnyard, Spongebob squarepants, even transformers to some degree (that their evil in the world). And me and my bf sometimes sit down to watching Spongebob and crack up because the ironies are JUST so true, especially Squidward who HATE spongebob and blames everything wrong in his life on Spingebob. Do I have a point?

LOL...I so agree.. Cartoons have certainly changed over the years; I remember hooked on watching Smurfs, Care Bear and whatnot, ha!! Those were the childhood days. But even then, watching Captain Planet (last time) I sort of already had a clue that there are bad guys around too. But nowadays, cartoons are getting better and the messages are more clearer for big kids like us. By the way, watch the latest Monsters versus Aliens..I love it, totally..

You're right and actually Spongebob shows kids how to try to get along with someone like Squidward in a positive way. He is also an example of determination since he faces challanges from time to time and tries his best to overcome them.
