I think desserts are good simple, good old fashioned simple ones, I am not a cook but I went away a way to cook for a fella for a week and someone gave me a recipe for apple crumble, just by using canned apples and this was something that I cooked in that week this guy loved with ice-cream it was delicious..sometimes the old simple things can be the best.

The recipe I was given was given to me by an old lady so I could impress a young man I started seeing..when I cooked it for him he said it was like his mother used make..a big compliment i think... I used canned apples but i guess it would even taste nicer with fresh perhaps..it was just a case of putting apples in the bottom of a baking dish then covering with the crunble mixture of 1 cup of S/R flour, half a cup of castor sugar and 4 level tablespoons of butter mixed together .... baked in an oven for 30mins....I must admit simple and very nice...

Hi Ms. T! How are you! I got your e-mail - and will reply tomorrow I promise. Here's a quickie - two cookies and ice cream = ice cream sandwich. Hehehehe, my bf loves that one a lot. Sometimes we decide to eat healthy so we'll have fruits. I also eat cereal for desert, hehehehe. I'm not much of a sweets person - so I don't usually bother with desert. Hope you had a good day -and I hope you feel better!
