I have a wonderful friend whose brother died last wk of complications and I feel so much for their pain. There is a dilemma going on right between her family. My friend just found out they're not able to put a tombstone because the grave was a donation and they will put others together with him. My friends sister say if they knew of this, they would have found a way to find the money for his own grave and tombstone and the most disturbing part of this is they want to take him out of there and put him somewhere else. My friend is very upset about it because she believes that will disturb his soul and so on and so forth. Do you think they should take him out and get his own grave? Or should he just stay there and rest in peace? What do you think they should do?

I believe that cemetaries are for the living more than for the deceased. It's a place to visit your loved one and to feel a connection to that person. If the family of your friend is disturbed about not being able to put a headstone on the grave then, yes, they should move him so that they can feel at peace when they visit the site.

I heard yesterday they're going to organize a fundraiser in order to go ahead with the plans. Thanks for your response.

I think they should just leave him there and pay the guys some money to make the grave a private grave. Gravedigging is a sin and something creepy could happen to you while you're doing it.
